Looks like he has decided to be a scorer. Look out, DD! Nice to see he is playing hard after not sticking with the big boys.

Loktionov's assist is shown starting at 3:22 into the video.

Fillier's stats are surprising but he's an overager isn't he?

Thanks for the link! Nice read by Loktionov to intercept that pass and turn it back the other way.

To be fair, +/- isn't really the kind of stat that "already" applies to. It means his team must have had a few games but it isn't really predictive of anything - it's not like he's "on pace" for a +100 or something because of it.

Piskula, Drewiske down, Zeiler to IR

From my source.

SO that leaves Hickey and Martinez right?

Nope. I'm the person who knew about the Ersberg arbitration before it happened. My source told me. Just wait and see.

it's ok...lakings.com does have news up within 24 hours of the event sometimes. It's been up there a little while now.

Lombardi is high on Hicks and Martz. He will keep them up for as long as possible because he feels that training with a pro level team in practice and such may benefit more right now then playing in the WHL or Manchester practices/games. I would be glad to see one of them steal the spot from Harrold

Plus if an injury happens, it's easier to have Hickey (if DL thinks he's the next best option) before he's sent back to Seattle. True that's he's better off practicing and playing in a few pre-season games than practicing and playing with his junior club. This week to 10 days should help him a lot.

Does anyone know where Niclas Andersen is playing this year? I assume he's gone back to Sweden but I haven't read anything official on it.

That was the last I read on the subject. Basically, the matter was supposed to go to arbitration, with the NHL arguing that the teams would retain the players' rights and the NHLPA arguing that teams would lose their rights.

Andrei Loktionov's team lost tonight, but he scored his first OHL goal!
