That was a great defensive play by Blake only to have Antro knock it off. Announcer's calling it "Cute", but he was turning and didn't make anything close to a move with the puck.

Just got in from the gym, hows it look?

Other than Blake trying to be cute and losing the puck there

Hello all!

This is my first official post of the year we make a run at Tavares...

that being said, Franzen just scored to make it 2-0, so on the bright side, we're closer to Tavares than ever before, even if it is just preseason

Re: Channelsurfing, tonight is not a good night for Toronto teams:

Argos losing to the BC Lions... at least Don Matthews put Kerry Joseph in there!

Mullen is such a know it all. He often accuses players of errors that they don't even commit. Good example is Frogren earlier, a player ended up falling on Toskala, and Mullen accused Frogren of stupidly pushing the Red Wing player on top of Toskala. After watching the replay, it was clear that the Red Wing player was on his way down before Frogren bumped him.

ARGOS JUST SCORE A TOUCHDOWN!!! Woooo!!! Now they're down only by 3! Robertson scores it! 17-14 BC, with 2:52 left in the half!

Agreed Antropovsky. Frogren was going to throw him over Toskala, but the Wings players was on his way down and they fell together.

After this period you really notice the system the Wings use. Everyone is in the lanes with active sticks. This is where we need to be. Obviously we don't have the Wings talent, but we should be able to get aggressive and into much better positions than we've seen on the ice.

Sad part is were playing right into their hands. The Red Wings are good at keeping shots from bad angles, and from the perimeter. With our size, and cycling ability, we should be crashing the crease alot more. We haven't learned from the goals that we have scored... Hagman's goals have been from going to the net, Mitchells assists are a result of passing from behind the net to the front of the net. Grabovski's goals have been from going to the net etc. That final shift by Antro/Poni/Blake they did a great job of controlling the play behind the net, but noone went to the front. Blake eventually got control, and after all the work behind the net, he skated it up to the half boards. Ponikarovsky needs to fight for position in front, Antropov needs to fight for position in front...etc. What did Antro/Poni learn from Sundin? He was the king of fighting for the puck behind the net and then powering to the front.

Not sure what anyone expected from this year other than watching prospects develop as the year goes on. Might have clued in to it getting ugly when everyone and their mother predicts us as basement staples.

Dont tell me we have bandwagoners amongst us

so you're enjoying watching us march to the penalty box and run around on the PK like chickens with their heads cut off.

im just sayin this is not entertaining, at all really.

when we get a full lineup back im sure/hope it will improve.
