I just want to see him pummel Thornton in Beantown, i am so sick of hearing booins fans laugh at how we are always getting our arses kicked physically.

Thornton, Lucic, Reich, Chara, the equipment manager etc... Anyone of them would be fine with me.

I don't want BGL to go after them, and he usually don't, we're not goons or losers contrary to them... I just want him to protect our players at the inevitable 3rd period goonery from the Bruin while losing by a wide margin...
Anyway, I already see Lucic cross-checking Plekanec and running away from BGL...

Sorry I forgot to put the sarcasm smiley. I honestly don't think he will be fighting much this year.
But his presence alone will help slow down opponents from taking liberties with our players.
Tough to say, I don't know how many he's averaged over the last few seasons off hand. But 15-18 fights seems reasonable to me.
He had 13 fights last year with the Pens. I'm expecting between 10-15 fights this year. He doesn't need to fight a lot and other teams will respect us just by having him in the line-up.

It will be fun for once to have a goon that is respected and feared... and that can actually play hockey too...

"He's probably the toughest in the league," says Ottawa Senators enforcer Chris Neil. "He's strong, he's powerful. It's one of those things where you watch his fights, meanwhile, when he's out there on the ice, he's coming after you, so you've got to be aware."
Yes Chris Neil, you better watch your ass because Laraque will have a hand on it all night long !

Thanks Asterix, I figured his fight totals weren't that high.

I wouldn't really call him a goon. True he was brought to Montreal for his toughness. But man when he starts cycling the puck behind the opponents net. Not too many players are able to take the puck off of him.
Paul Bissonnette of the Pittsburgh Penguins on Laraque:
"I'm not really afraid of anyone, but if I were to fight him, I'd probably be shaking going in," says the 23-year-old from Welland, Ont. "That's just the respect you have for him and what you've seen him do in the past. If I want to play in this league, that's going to be my job and obviously I'd have to do it, that's life.

"Big deal, he breaks your face. Get it fixed."
I saw that quote the other day and busted out laughing.

Hey you're a moderator....you need to say things with....moderation....
Actually I hate when there's so much of a difference between 2 guys, but Thornton, I really really don't care.....I want BGL to get the guy and show him what "little frenchies" could do to his face....
AH yes, I have a a big George fantasy also.
Yep right in Boston, Chara and George have at it.
The crowd is wild, but with every punch big George knocks Chara and the crowd roar diminishes, once, twice, three times until Mighty Chara is on his knees and you can hear a pin drop in that massive arena.
Big George stands over a beaten Chara as Chara begs for mercy from his knees, Chara's desperate words reverberating through the dead silent arena. " Please stop,I beg of you, please stop"
George looks over to his bench and Carbo gives him the signal to stop.
Chara is taken off the ice a broken man.

Since when is Bissonnette an enforcer? Last I saw him he was a stay at home d-man in the OHL. I'm pretty sure if anybody on Pittsburgh fights BGL it will be Goddard.

That will never happen because Carra will never "fight" BGL. He'll drop the gloves and try and wrestle BGL to the ice but will never goe toe to toe.

lol...there are exceptions to every rule I guess.
But I agree, I wasn't a big fan of that comment. But maybe it's because I am 5'6 and my background is french.
