Gainey in '79: "put me down!"

The NHL Network is just now playing the 1979 cup winning game against the Rags. Gainey won the Conn Smythe, and when it was announced on-ice during the cup celebration, some other players picked him up onto their shoulders and gave him the cup.

I've got to say it's probably the most awkward on-ice moment in the history of NHL trophy presentations. The whole time, he looks like "please... please don't pick me up. Alright please... please put me down now. You had your fun... come on. Guys really I don't want to be up here. My skate could cut someone. Alright that's enough, come on... we've got to start planning for next year... come on guys. Put me down."

Anyone else see this, or better yet remember it from when it first happened? Pretty hilarious in its way.
