First ever hockey practice with a team need advice..

I really don't know where to start but I have my first practice with my house league team tommorow and I'm extremely nervous. I'm not the best skater as I've only been playing and skating for about 2 years. But, I do have a decent shot in terms of power and accuracy.

Any advice of the does and dont's in hockey practice.

BTW, If anyone was wondering I've been doing clinics for the last 2 years so its not like I have zero experience with better players.

Have fun, really. Laugh any kind of mistake you make up.
If you look like you're trying too hard to be as good is possible you'll either look like a stuck up twit or like you're trying too hard.

A good attitude is key to being a good teammate.

Fight the best player to establish yourself as the alpha male.

More seriously, for a game I would tell you to keep things simple but for a practise... I don't know, have fun?! And don't shot on too high on the goaltender...

Same rule for practices as warm-ups, don't be a showboat or have a bad attitude. Just help out your teammates when you can and let them help you if you need it.

Yeah, I get pissed when players snipe at the mask.

Work hard, listen to instructions and watch the way people are going through the drills, don't be afraid to fall or whatever in a skating drill (I'd rather a kid try to push himself and fall than just go through doing it "safe"), and don't shot the pucks around when you're not supposed to be shooting pucks around.
