Hagman looked really good in this game, he was dangling and using his speed to gain the blue line. If he keeps his chemistry with Grabo going he's a good bet to score 25.

People on these boards are real quick to jump on and off player bandwagons. We have only played a handful of pre-season games for gods sakes, at least wait till the end of the first month (regular season) before getting to excited or depressed about a player.

Seems like you've jumped on the MSP bandwagon headfirst little buddy. You may want to wait till he's drafted before getting your chubby on...

Listen i'm not saying refrain from bandwagon hopping, merely that you (not you specifically) wait till the season starts. I'm a huge fan of Grabo (b/c of numerous viewings of him in Mon and Hamilton). To credit Grabo for 6 pre season games is just as bad as writing him off for 24 games with Montreal.

BTW I've been watching MSP since he was 15 playing for the Malmö Redhawks, good try though.

You can be pretty sure that Detroit will dress Zetterberg, Lidström, Filppula, Franzen, Rafalski, Samuelsson, Holmström and Datsuyk (probably at least; he's having a soar groin but should be able to play after the pre-season), when there is regular season points at stake.

I try not to take much from pre-season but Cujo has looked beyond horrendous. Even as a backup, he needs to be better than this.

He has looked like an older version of Raycroft so far, hasn't he?

We can only hope his game will pick up.

Fixed it for you Rec.

Those of us that are looking forward for a TOP 5 draft pick in 2009, have liked he way Cujo has played, and would like to see coach RW up his games played accordingly.

The Silver Fox is looking pretty sharp being able to downgrade on Raycroft and the back up goalie position, to meet the objective, without giving away his agenda.

I'm a bit confused cause my friend told me that some teams played regular season games as well.

Can somebody please clarify if the actual regular season has started for some teams?

Much appreciated and thanx in advance!

The teams in europe Ottawa,Pitts etc. are now playing regular season games. They started early so they could get a micro break once they return to North America.Apparently last years teams found the schedule a bit hectic.

Poni made a sweet soft-hand move and pass to get Antropov the puck on the first Blake goal.

And Osgood made a great desperation stick save on that last one at the end of the game there.

Poni has 5 points in 6 games, btw.
