Just got my NHL catalog in the mail today. I guess they have individual team covers now. Cannon is on the cover.

But you have to think he can score at least 6-8 a year for the next bunch of years while he enters and goes through his prime.

Right now he's averaging 4 per year, but that will go up as he gets older and better still.

Plus, the fact that he is on the Flyers has to be considered. The inordinate amount of time we spend on the PK has to greatly increase his chances.

I got my catalog yesterday.

The inside of the front cover has a link to purchase the NHL regular season package online and the link doesn't work. www.NHL.com/shoplivegames

I then went to the NHL website and there is a brief promo for the package but it doesn't mention how to purchase the package (from what I can tell).

http://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/index.html

I then called the phone number inside the catalog and the person answered the phone "NFL..I mean NHL."

He then suggested I call the NHL office.

I sent the NHL an E-mail on the "Contact Us" link after filling out the form but I sense the E-mail didn't deliver properly. I'll try that again.

This years third. I have a Carter one in the one you're talking about. Although I like all the orange in the past one... I love the retro style of this year...

Ya know what, I was thinking about that when you posted that. I was sitting here like how does she know what they look like cause I haven't seen it yet. But I truly thought you found one, so in the end don't feel that bad cause it got me too haha.

Toronto Sun top 50 players:

Check out #37.

40. Daniel Briere, Philadelphia

Had an ordinary season, but got back in the saddle by the end. Will be back with Simon Gagne.

47. Mike Richards, Philadelphia

A leader and an intense player. The Flyers couldn't do it without him.

Well I must say I don't agree with that list at all, also they do know that Gomez is on the Rangers now not the Devils...don't they?

It's the Toronto Sun. Half the time, they don't realize there is a world outside of Metro Toronto. Gotta love the heavy duty research that went into the piece, doncha?

Kopitar at #26... Thornton at #29? Uh huh...

Philadelphia Inquirer article...

Quote:
http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/...oric_role.html

Before a preseason game nearly two weeks ago, Mike Richards skated to center ice, received his C jersey from Flyers chairman Ed Snider, and shook hands with 11 of the team's former captains, who were there for farewell-to-the-Spectrum festivities.
Never before had a new Flyers captain received such a welcome.

The beloved Spectrum, site of the Flyers' first Stanley Cup championship in 1974 and in the final year of its existence, shook with applause as the fans saluted the symbolic passing of the captain's jersey to the 23-year-old Richards.

"It was a pretty special moment," the soft-spoken center said.

By all accounts, Richards will be a pretty special captain.

Olli Jokinen is not a top 50 player? 250 points in the last 3 years and a +13 over that time with one of the worst teams in the East...I'd take him over Sedin, Parise, gomez and doan easily. Doan is his older, crappier clone.
