Our defense is pathetic.. we need a top 4 defenseman... if we have that lineup... unless Komi Marky play incredible every time we wont win much more than 50% we really need experience (with talent) to help out the first 3.. already they are not in the topest of shape.

I'd prefer early season injuries to late season injuries, which is what happened last season. Koivu, Bouillon and Komisarek being out at the start of the post-season knocked out chemistry off.

I would prefer if we could, like the too many men on the ice or the goalie penalty, delegate someone else to the injury.

Well, theres more than makes Danielle a man than just her balls. For example, Sergei Samsonov may have mood swings, but Samsonov cannot give birth to consistent scoring. Therefore, she is a man.

Our defense is more than fine, like every other team in this league, we need Markov-Komi to play great, we have a beast in Hamrlik for our 3rd D. O'Byrne and Breezer will likely share the #4 seed(breezer being the 7th)...Bouillon and Gorges should make for one of the best low pair Ds in the NHL.
Bouillon will miss at least 1 Game, O'Byrne might not miss any or might miss many, yet to be known.
One thing for sure, you don't finish 1st in East with a pathetic Defense. So don't be dramatic.
Relax, nothing serious re: O'Byrne. From RDS (if you don't speak French, basically says looked far worse than it is...nothing serious)
