A band aid and a ride to the closest doctor.

This player has ZERO value as of right now.

I think that he has shown that he is able to play very well when he has healthy.

I think you could see a team with the lower depth but without any top4 players take him.

If he stays healthy they get a top4 player who is young.
if he is injured they have lots of depth.

they would probobly give up a forward prospect and a 3rd rounder. nothing bluechip but maybe top6 potential.

I think he is most likely to be part of a package for a bluechip forward prospect.

Someone with potential to be quality 3rd line center and a 4th or 5th rounder.

Leafs aren't moving him if all we get back is junk (like most of the things offered so far).

They've spent far too long keeping him through the injuries. He's starting a new season in the middle of a youth movement and he is 100% for once. We're not giving up now.

Yup, his value is gonna be awful at this point. He is worth more to your team than in a trade.

He's been 100% plenty of times. Just never stays that way for long. He's the Martin Havlat of blueliners, only younger and, well, not as talented.

And the Leafs have kept him around through all of that, I can't see why they would move him now when he finally fits into our plans exactly.

Yeeeep. And yet some people insist.

Also, can we please spell it right? After a while you'd think people would get it right. It's one freaking extra 'a'.

Overrated, always injured defenseman fits in exactly where in your plans? So that Toronto is always over the cap near preseason and a bunch of Toronto fans make weird - one sided trades to get under the cap, but in reality just keep throwing Cola on the LTIR thus getting under the cap?

Ah, I see the plan now.

Pretty much what has been said. When he is playing he is fantastic. But he isnt playing all that much. The leafs (hopefully, fletcher has been odd) wont want to give up cola for cheap for the chance that he gets healthy and explodes like antropov. Another team wont want to give up too much because he will likely be injured.

Not a good fit the chance that he plays is worth more than what teams would likely want to give up.
If healthy though he would be worth a lot.

Darren Dreger goes on AM640 and says the Leafs would very likely get a 1st or Blue Chip Prospect.

HFBoards knows better than said Dreger, claims they'd only get waived players and 4th rounders, because rather than the 10M under the cap they are, the Leafs are apparently desperate to get under.

From who, who the hell would give that up for the oft injured defenseman who hasn't lived up to hype and isn't a prospect anymore?

You don't think he's, just maybe, pandering to the pro-Leafs listening audience.

Until I see it, there is NO WAY that Colaiacovo is worth more then a 4th.

Edmonton probably.

I'm sure the New York Islanders would consider it as well.

He would barely crack the top-6 in Edmonton, thanks for paying attention though.

Campoli, Meyer and Gervais are better, so no they wouldn't.

Again, stop pretending your average players have some ridiculously high value just by the virtue of being a Leaf.

Until I see it, the trade for that value, there's no way Colaiacovo carries that value, that was Dreger pandering to Leafs fans.

he can not stay healthy

bottom line he has shown nothing at the nhl level

right now he has little upside---so a mid round pick is what the leafs would get

a first rounder and a blue chip prospect?? I got swamp land in florida for ya
