Somewhere between the first of the year and the all-star break but look at Niitty's timetable.

The story of this game, despite the score, is Niittymaki's play.

When Niittymaki's career ends he's going to submit himself for DNA testing because he heals like a freak of nature.

They're out there. Jason Clermont, a slotback for the BC Lions, in 2006, tore his MCL in his season opener. That was June 16. After surgery, he was back for the August 10th game

Does it bother anyone else that Berube is drawing up the plan for the tying goal?

Berube knows the guys on the other side better than anyone else on the bench.
Nodl beats Timonen to the loose puck and makes a great play for the empty net. Nice play.

I like this idea of the big club playing the farm team.Is this something the Flyers do every year?
Do they at least get Biron?

Wow this is probably the best GDT I have ever seen.
At any rate with the Rangers game on Saturday I am now completely comfortable knowing that the Flyers were able to hang in there with the Phantoms for two periods!
Aubin needs to not be on the main Roster, and Niittymaki needs to come back immediately. Soon as I saw Aubin come in I knew we were done for.

With the Phantoms having Giroux Nodl and Maroon this year, they are going to be ridiculously good. However not good enough to beat the Flyers, I am chalking this one up to the Flyers either not trying, or letting the Phantoms get the last win in the Spectrum when technically it is their house and not ours anymore.
I also blame Aubin!

Oh yeah, Niittymaki was standing on his head, and with Parent being out that forces us to use an 18 year old defencemen (although playing great right now) or Lasse "I dominate in the giveaway stats in fantasy hockey" Kukkonen.

The Phantoms won because Niitty played stellar especially in the 2nd period. Had it not been for Niitty the Flers most likely would have been up 3 or 4 -1 at the end of the 2nd. Good work Niitty! Though you scared the **** out of me every time you went side-to-side in that extended butterfly of yours. I kept waiting for your hip to explode.

Nitty played great. Also it didn't help that the Flyers didn't come back from West Point until this afternoon.

So who was it here who was making fun of the Pens for losing to the baby Pens a few years ago?
