Looks like my boy is opening up...even spoke a few words in french apparently (not that I think that's important, but still) he looks hungry this year, judging from what we saw this preseason, I think AK46 will have a huge year.

I like how they mentionned that he's played the point and PK before in his country and in Hamilton, when asked about it, Kostitsyn replied "Yeah, but I don't think Carbo knows"! lol

All I remember where the people saying he was a bust comparing to the other guys that were drafted in his year.n The guy was slower to developp, but this year...I smell it... He is going to be unreal. I think he learned what hockey was in here and he fell in love with it.

On a serious note, I think he's capable of 40g, in his career maybe more.

When we drafted him 10th overall, it was a steal, it was draft theft

If you look back at his earlier days. 5 mins of ice time, 1g, 3 mins of ice time, 1 assist.

Imo he was always good, they just didn't want to rush his developement. I felt he developed faster than most. Had Lats not been on this team, he'd have been up and doing great a year early. If you wanna talk slow developement..... well, to be fair, lats looks to suprise this year

He seems like one of the most improved players in terms of general playability. He's faster too.

my hair is really thick and shiny, and my father still got really thick and dark hair at the age of 46 so i am good!

I really dont want to start a debate between Euro and N-A, but I love the new ''breed'' from Euro( specificaly Russia). They want to win and they make it clear! Look at all the young guns like Ovechkin, Malkin, Datsyuk, Kostitsyn. I'm very happy to hear it. In the past, some guy came here only for money and when the season was over, they were going to WHC. But now, the ultimate goal is not Olympic gold medal or WHC gold medal.... is the Stanley Cup!!

This is the year where our young players will finally get noticed around the league: Pleks, Kostitsyns, Chipchura, etc. This team is going to good for a long time.
