I predict the bruins start the season on the right foot, gaining their first of 82 straight moral victories.

Kickass, should be a doozy. I wasn't too disappointed with CBC's two games but I just find it so hard to watch Vancouver.

I like watching Vancouver.
I guess it helps when you know 2 of the players.

Well Leafs fans will like their team this year. While they might not have a winning record, it's pretty rare for them to see a team with that much hustle. They better use the beginning of the season to their advantage while the stronger opponents might not be in game shape.
Toskala looks shaky to say the least though....
Frogren seems a nice pickup for them. Seems to be a d-man we would like to see our Valentenko becoming.
Edit: Just saw that Frogren is Calgary 98' draft pick....he's 28 years old.

that get away with murder!
Coliacovo got a hooking penalty which was well deserved but when the Wings Dman did the exact samething it goes uncalled.

No kidding, what a start to the season. Loving this ESPN package I bought too. Three cheers to the NHL for making hockey available around the world. About time, but great job so far
Jeez, at this rate I'm not going to sleep again until the Christmas break.

Is it me or while not stronger, Grabs looks a little bigger.....I liked how he protected the puck behind the net at one point.

But it was Out of town thread because it was not only games but other discussion as well.

Leafs are going to surprise a lot of people this year... They won't be a powerhouse, but they'll get their fair share of wins.
I love the way they're playing so far.
