Good: Lang, Price, Plekanec, Hamrlik, Kostopoulos, the Penalty Kill
Bad: Tanguay, Begin, Brisebois, the Power Play
Ok for the first game of the year: The rest.

Let them **** together. I don't go there, or I'll end up with another infraction.

well, actually learning to spell his name right would be a beginning... if you want to praise the player.

Koivu knows Latendresse and Higgins, and I don't want to break the chemestry between Lang and S. Kostitsyn. They're doing great together.
Tanguay will look better on the LW that for sure

Gorges got more "appreciation threads" than anyone last year.

Also.. it's GORGES.

I said its the same team as last year except Tanguay who replaced Ryder and Lang. Our holes are filled by Dandy and Breezer, but hey your right this team is so much more different. Like i said we will see later in the season when Pacc gets his chance on the 3rd line instead of Kosto. Garanteed there will be injuries and we will need to see our depth, but DON'T tell me our depth is Dandy Breezer and Kosto.

Freakin groin injury. He had one in preseason, might have comeback too early and now he's gone again. Probably not long but I won't expect him at least for a week. We have 3 games in 4 days, including the one we played tonight, and I definately don't expect him in any of those 3. Same for Laraque.

Indeed !!

As for the Tanguay-Koivu duet, it'll never works !! This line needs a real sniper and Tanguay can't play on the Right side, plain and simple !!

Tanguay - Plekanec - Kovalev
Latendresse - Koivu - A.Kostitsyn
Higgins - Lang - S.Kostitsyn
Kostopoulos - Lapierre - Laraque

There !!!

No... If there are some long term injuries, we have Pacioretty and Maxwell who would not look silly at all in the big league... we have Lang who is by far greater than Smolinski (hell, I haven't seen Koivu play the same type of game as Lang in the regular season for a long time...), and Tanguay (who wasn't at his best tonight, but it shall come) to replace Ryder. We also added some muscles in Laraque, O'Byrne improved a lot, and Gorges is not the D-Man he was last year at the same time.

Plus on the blue line, we have Valentenko, Weber and Carle who could all see some NHL ice this year...

He is, his hockey sense is exceptionnal. He was bashed non stop during pre-season yet was probably one of the best players on the ice tonight. Gave some sick feeds and his backhand pass reception was a thing of beauty. What a wrister too, he just needs to use it more often. The guy should not be playing bottom line minutes, he's way too smart on the ice not to play on the top 2 lines.

Too bad people won't give him the praise he's due because of their hate for one poster.

Honest question here...why does Carbo break up the AK-TP-AK line on the PP...they worked magic last year. KEEP THEM TOGETHER!
