Montreal is likely going to play their backup Halak verses the Leafs today on HNIC Saturday.
Doesn't appear the Habs are taking us that seriously if they are giving Price the night off already in game 2.

And what an Agenda it is. I think it's the only time the concept a team will be better, only to finish worse in the standings, while being more competitive yet osing more games while having a more talented team that finishes bottom of the league all because the GM planned in this way has ever been proposed.
I seriously hope Van Ryn is being showcased for a trade. Not sure how long I can take seeing Stralman scratched.
The next loss will likely see a rotation happening where Stralman will get in ..
Last game I thought Carlo verses Detroit was the weakest in that game among all our Dmen.. So Stralman in for him is not that big an advantage as far as I'm concerned.
Jeff Finger took the skate today and is practicing back on the ice so he will add another body to the mix. Maybe Stralman going to the Marlies to get big minutes when Finger comes off IR next week after the St.Louis game.
Is Higgins hurt for Montreal? Noticed he wasn't listed as one of the twelve forwards.
I'm not sure, but don't look to far into the posted Montreal Line-up, I stole it from Montreal season opener GDT. I'll update it once it is verified, or someone verifies it for me.
Why does our supposed top line seem the crappiest to me?
It shouldn't, Antropov is our best forward and Blake is the most proven scorer on the team? Plus Ponikarovsky (even though I don't like the way he plays) has scored 20 goals the past 2 to 3 seasons. That against a line of John Mitchell, Matt Stajan and Jamal Mayers seems inferior to you? Although I do admit I really like our middle 2 lines, they actually have some talent.

He is injured, so is Laraque and Boullion. It's on TSN's Ice Chips.
They're an exciting line to watch, super fast and lots of action, skill and creativity and even chemistry.
Niky Hagman is quickly becoming a Leaf favourite player of mine, as love his game and his hustle, and every time he hits the ice he is in the action.
I like this line too. Very speedy and skilled.
I agree with Joey Hoser. I don't like the Poni - Antro - Blake line too much. Obviously with Antro being our best forward and Blake our best (proven) goal scorer it should be a great line, but I don't think it will work out.
