It's not his fault if Guns&Roses has not released the album yet.

If he could get some of those Leafs fans to stop whinning about the Habs running up the score, it would be a start.

Do you guys remember the argument we had with Vancouver fans concerning the Sedin bros vs. Kostsitsyn bros trade proposal. Would you do that trade now ? I'm sure as poutine I wouldn't.

Rare video footage of perhaps the only time it has ever happened. He picked a good time to do it though.

Andrei show Sergei a photocopy of his contract.

Sergei played a very good game tonight though, well done that kid (Gui too).

Unfortuately, some leafs fans, not everyone, don't think. They wait to know what Cherry is thinking and then express it....

That was one of the sexiest PP's I've ever seen (5th goal I think?)

Or even better the Andrei AND Sergei Kostitsyn or Zach Parise debate. I remember some entertaining posts in that thread.

The inexperienced Leafs played so badly that we shouldn't get giddy about all the goals. Weren't we the the ones who picked them for dead last? The contrast with the game in Buffalo, in which Price saved us a point, should remind us that the Habs aren't an unstoppable express train. Having said that, I see that the Habs are a 3-line team and that they should be even better when Higgins returns. I also can't overlook that the 4th line is shabby, just plain shabby. Lapierre hasn't improved one iota and Bégin has become a liability (the two of them make Dandenault look respectable). I know that the Habs have 24 roster players and that Chipchura is around only because Bouillon is on injury reserve but I don't see why Chipchura wouldn't be an improvement over Lapierre.

Plainly, Streit is not missed any more than Souray is. The PP is different with Tanguay but no less effective, and Lang is a good addition.

One more thing: I don't agree that Latendresse rated a star ahead of Koivu. He still needs Saku to generate anything.

It's a good thing we're set with the kost bros. Andrei took a little time to develop, but he'll fire it up this season. I think he'll have a breakout year, as if last year he wasn't good already... Nice win against the laughing stock of Toronto !

Isn't it hilarious how the two most hated players this preseason, Lats and Sergei, were probably two of the best players tonight? Lats showed he's as good a passer as a scorer and Sergei showed wicked hockey sense(as always) and a hard, accurate wrister.

I get a kick out of the general concensus on the other teams forums that Andrei & Sergei are soft, but compared to the Sedin's these guys are freakin lumberjacks.

I usually dont like sending your primary players on the PP when the game is over, but Ron Wilson is one of those coaches that does it, so I dont care.

So for the leaf fans that dont like it,

so true...

but Don Cherry is a master showman who masterfully knows how to get people to notice him and talk about his opinions

Its why he's paid million

He will back the Habs if they make it to the final vs a US team

Although its gonna hurt him that it aint the Leafs who are there

Detroit nearly lost to Ottawa. I don't think they're up to speed yet. They made 19 turnovers against the Leafs in their home opener.
