I think it's saying they were 5 for 7 on the power play. Not a 5 on 7 power play.

Never mind...

Then they signed him. Could you imagine the stir on the boards that would cause?

See, that's what I get for reading MSE's GDTs when it's too late. My bad, but I guess the thought of getting seven PP in one game, to me, was more shocking than getting a single 5-for-7 PP.

Cote vs. Laraque, Round 3.

My prophecy: Flyers win 4-1 including a SHG by Captain Cannon.

Sbisa will be on the second pairing

Quote:
Stevens shuffled the defensive pairings at yesterday's practice, moving Sbisa to the second duo alongside Coburn. Eminger and Kukkonen, each of whom made mistakes that led to Rangers goals, were on the new third pairing, while Timonen and fellow Finn Vaananen remained the top pairing.

Imagine living in a world surrounded by hab fans? Unfortunately this reality exists for many of us here in Canada. On behalf of these victims we are counting on your Flyers to humble them again. Please humble them again!!

This will be my first game of the season! I'll be in section 121. I'm calling 4-3 Flyers in OT.

Cool part is, its just as good every game.

Let's go Flyers. Better start out strong because one 8:22 rolls around ill be switching back and forth between the Phillies.

Timmy P says this is a 'must win.'

I think the 2nd and 3rd periods the other night gave something the Flyers to build on. I expect them to play well tonight. I also hope Kukkonen never steps foot on the ice.

With that being said WHEN you are wrong can I mention it .

I expect a strong outing.
Of course you can. I hope I am wrong (it wont be my first time) but I just do not see us beating Habs right now.

EDIT: Is Downie playing?

Looks like he is.

Downie back

The injury update was not all bad news yesterday. Steve Downie will be in the lineup when the Flyers take on the Canadiens in the Wachovia Center tonight. Downie is wearing a brace for extra support while he continues to recover from an MCL strain in his right knee.

Awesome GDT as always MSE.

That I remember, it was brutal to watch.
I saw that too. During the delay, I turned it to WCW's show, in time to see Buff Bagwell brake his neck. That was just weird

He's not quite that bad, but for now, until we get healthy, or someone in the minors decides to become a legit NHL'er, we're stuck with him

I won tickets in a raffle at a charity golf tournament. I'm sitting up in 224, but happy to be in the house for the $20 of raffle tickets that I purchased.

Pierre Houde and Benoit Brunet.

I expect a good game tonight, and I hope the habs win, but Lupul gets a hat trick (hockey pool).

I just want them to come out more prepared then they did against the Rags. I can understand why it happened in the 1st game. But there will be no excuse if it happens again tonight. They should pumped for this game considering it's the Habs who will be gunning for payback.
