Like I stated in the main board thread....Quincey strikes me as a Lombardi type player. If he comes to the Kings he will have a chance to earn a spot before Johnson returns.
Excellent play by Lombardi. For as much as I've killed him over the last 18 months (after being with him the first 18), the past week has been very very good organizationally.
In a couple of playoff games in 06-07, he was the best d-man on the ice. But Holland still values Chelios more than him. I expect he's a better player than Gauthier.
The best defenseman on the ice? Uh, no. He just didn't make any mistakes -- which was impressive.
He was awful in the pre-season this year but he's a solid player. Nice move by the Kings.

To add to that, Babcock picked his spots are delicately as you could considering the circumstances. He played 10 mins initially because Babcock could count on his adrenaline but as soon as Quincey realized where he was Babcock reduced and reduced and basically told him to clear the puck and get off the ice. He'll be serviceable for you guys but don't expect too much.

nobody will be expecting too much... he's a strong, bottom pairing defenseman.

If he can do those two things he'll be better than Gauthier.
Wow this is good. I am starting to experience some deja vu with the former ice dogs in the Pacific Division. I think the nice thing is Kyle had the benefit from learning from established vets in the Detroit system.
would take him in a heart beat.Waive Gauth,no one will pick him up right now.Quincey is tough similar to Greene but can move the puck a little better fits in with the age group of our core ,played in Missy with Sully good leader team player that has been brought along carefully by the Wings. Take Him!
