That's the first thing I noticed when I looked over his stats on TSN. Guy seems brittle. The other thing I noticed is he has played in 13 playoff games with Detroit. I think you just hope he steps in and turns into a star, if not oh well.
he played a total of 72 games between the Red Wings and their affiliate last season and a total of 71 the season before.
he's averaging 70 games per over the last three seasons between the two clubs and played 13 games in the post-season with the Wings in 2007.
i don't know from "brittle."
Dude, take it easy. I said he seemed brittle from the injury history. Just to be clear have you ever watched a Red Wings game and focused on Kyle Quincey cause I haven't, thus the word seemed in my observation of his TSN page.
I believe that the Kings do have 6 legitimate NHL defenseman, the problem is that they are all 4-6 and not 1-3 defensemen.
Yeah, the Kings may end up dressing 7 d-man and just spreading minutes around as best they can, no one on this roster is ready or able to handle 20+ minutes a night and do it competently. But we have handful of guys that can play decent for 12-15 minutes a game. The Kings have to figure out a way to have a top d pairing by committee or else they are boned...seriously boned in a very painful fashion.
