On a down note, If you think Laraque would have done anything to Hartnell, you're sorrily mistaken. The Pens had problems with Hartnell specifically all season last year taking runs at Crosby, Malkin and Gonchar and all Laraque did about it in 8 games is fight Riley Cote. Malone had to do the real dirty work.
Maybe because Hartnell wouldn't go near BGL?

Chicken wings

The cage is going to need a lot of chicken wings this year.

I really hope Bouillon recovers rapidly because I can't stand Brisebois already. He's always a step behind in every plays. He looks really slow out there and because of that he tends to rush his plays that leads to turnovers or useless dumpings that cost a faceoff in our zone. Bouillon, on the other hand, is very quick and he's tough along the boards.

I didn't like the second period. The Flyers were covering a lot of ice and they always seemed to be there and intercept the passes. Philadelphia dominated us but we came strong in the third. What I really like about this years team is that we can always hope for goals in bunches. We are skilled and we take advantage of our chances.

I hope we can see Chipchura next game.

P.S. Oh and props to Gorges who had a nice game. He really stood out on that 5 on 3! I really like this kid.

To tell you the truth, they probably make more money on wing nights because it gets more customers in the door.

I just double checked it on Zone de match, and it did it the left post almost on the corner, and never went in the net.

I can't understand some people... Lapierre did nothing wrong... he was great in his role...

What the hell do you expect him to do? He was the fastest player on the ice...

I'm not Lapierre's biggest fan but I thought he played a good game tonight.

Hey, i missed the first 8 minutes of the 1st. Turkey dinner at mom and dads MMMNNNN.

anyway, first of all, Lapierre is a winger trying to play center in my books. He can skate like the wind, forecheck great and back check. He can not playmake at all!! He does not pass ever, and he always has a useless shot from far away. If he gets close to the net and then gets the puck or brings it to the net from the corner or behind the net he can be effective but he can not pass. If he attempts to pass for some reason it will be a bad pass and ruin the play. I like laps on this team and i think he should play every game, just not as the 4th center.

Enter Chipchura. If Chips does not play vs the bruins on Wednesday then i will be very very surprised. I will go as far as saying that Carbo is making a very big mistake and will have to eventually put Chips there anyway. He is just wasting time and using Laps wrong and not letting him excell in a role, as a winger.

This is the hate of some posters i believe. Laps played good, its just that he didn't do what a center should with the puck.

I'm really suprised no one mentioned how solid O'Byrne looked...people love to hate on him when he makes a mistake...but he gets little praise when he does good...he was very solid out there...being a +2 and making some good passes...not to mention he did not give the puck away either...great effort...this guy is gonna be a beast!!!

Tom Kostopolous...A really solid effort...some nice hits and some solid defensive plays...he really is underrated...as he does the little things that make a difference and usually go unnoticed...he shows up every nights and like begin wears his heart on his sleeve!!!

Steve Begin...great on the penalty kill...and worked very hard all night...deserves to be in the line up...no doubt about it...as long as he is not taking bad penalties...a role player that knows his role!!! ....what else can you say

Go Habs Go...

I like the way he can get a 5min fighting on the penalty sheet without fighting. If he really wants to fight, he wouldnt hug Downie like that.

He stinks. He lost again to a smaller man.

+1 I don't know what people expect from him. He's on the 4th line and he does the job of a 4th liner.

I like how the players reacted to the Hartnell hit at the end and that Gui steped up.
I was pleased that Guillaume stood up for himself, and since the game was over it didn't hurt the Habs, just sent a message. Bravo!

I hate the Flyers more than I hate the Laffs, I kind of just feel sorry for the Laffs.
