The Flyers are one of the most hated teams in the NHL and have been since their inception. The hate is universal. It's a lot like the Ducks in the West.

Just to point out: Christopher Higgins has never EVER made the quote which you attributed to him in your sig. His exact quote is as follows:

‘I WANT to be a 40/40 (goals/assists) man with a big fat (Stanley Cup) ring on my finger.’

Therefore, the quote which you have assigned to him is both incorrect and misleading. And while you are simply a poster on a message board who is unworthy of any legal ramifications, if you ever plan to be a journalist, adjusting a quote to that extent and passing it off as direct to better prove some silly hypothesis is borderline libel.

I hate the Bruins and the Sens more than any other team in the league.

Philly's fans are just all right. And the Leafs are also ok, at least from my point of view.

Bruins and Sens though, I can't stand those two teams.

Don't get me wrong, I've always hated the Flyers, just not that special hate I reserve for the Ruins and Laffs. But they're quickly catching up.

And no matter how bad the Laffs are, I hate them. The worse they do the better.

I don't like the Sens but I don't mind them that much

Exactly.

We were blessed to have Harold Ballard screwing that franchise for so long. When he died, the Leafs were able to make the Conference Finals four times and turn their entire roster around *twice* before MLSE took up Ballard's spot and choked the life out of the team again, giving us a chance to once again dominate as they fell.

If people keep feeling sorry for them, they will eventually become a powerhouse and toss us around, and maybe even *gasp* win the Stanley Cup. Who wants that? Always hate the Leafs. Always hope for the worst.

Huh, you want them to do bad... but not that bad... How about 9th place in the conference for eternity?

That's basically what I mean, by bad I mean bad enough to miss the playoffs every year but not so bad that they get really high draft picks - in other words I wish them the worst of both worlds.

A pox on the Laffs and their fans

Please. Last time they had a 1st Overall Pick they drafted Wendel Clark. The NHL sure trembled in fear of that pick.

If I was a prospect, I'd be worried about being drafted by the Leafs, who seem to never meet the potential of their prospects.

Wendel was the ultimate hockey player who was misused. A heart and soul western boy.

Forget about it Quagmier, people have brought this to her attention numerous of times. She's in her own little world.

Because the game was against the Flyers in Philadelphia I relished this game, warts and all. For awhile I was concerned after the Flyers scored their first PP goal but the Habs roared back in the third period. The Habs took Biron down to earth, Andrei Kostitsyn leveled Richards before blasting one past Biron's ear, and Komi scored. S. Kost made some fine passes. The first three lines all clicked and Price was sturdy. To me, Latendresse's getting into a real fight at the end of the game was heartwarming. I think it's clear that even though Kostopoulos isn't gifted he's a good, solid player, better than anyone on tonight's fourth line.

the leafs nation ad on SNET nullifies that. imagine an entire fan base obsessing over a moral victory for a over-acheiving team.

thats not something that i would be proud of a lot if montreal's strongest bright spot (historically or present day)was that.

Good because thats what they aim for every year anyways. And yes its VERY annoying to be a Habs fan leaving in Toronto. Due to some sort of hallucination they think that they are the Yankees of hockey. Difference is the Yankees are winner and always strive to win.

I did for the Buffalo game...it's kind of funny. Some posters change within 2 minutes how they are feeling. It's like being on a roller coaster.

Edit: Others I want to reach through my computer screen and smack them around a little bit.

Missed the game, seems like the boys ramped it up in the 3rd. Good to see they can takea losing game and turn it araound with pure, unstoppable offesive goodness.

What will it be with Higgins back?

Also pointing out. We scored 12 goals, allowing 5 (6 with OT loss). This means we are holding well defensively and hitting hard offensively. This is always a good sign.
