Sergei has too much hair to rival with the incredible Balditsyn. It hurts his aerodynamics.

Andrei will have more goals and points while Sergei will have more passes.
That's exactly it. Sergei is reaping the benifits of playing against weaker oposition. Having said that, I still believe that Andrei will beat him points + goal wize but it will be closer than some people think.

That said , both are having great start and are very fun to watch
If Sergei keeps that pace, he will score over 130 points this season and top the NHL by what I'd imagine, would be a considerable mark.

Honestly, I think Sergei wins the overall points battle this year(I think him and Lang are going to light it up all year); Andrei will score more goals however.

7th rounder leads NHL in scoring after 2 seasons.

I can see suicides in the scouting departments of the league .

Still, his play with Lang is phenomenal, it's as if he was the perfect center for him.

Lang is so smart and experienced and knows exactly where to go on the ice to get in a scoring position. Sergei is so smooth and has a inane ability to thread a pass to the open man. I am really thrilled about these two, I think they will be the most productive duo on the team. I can't wait for Higgins to be inserted in that line as well, nothing againt Kostopoulos, but three skilled players is better than two. Maybe even Lats will get a look on that line.

I'll appreciate Sergei as much as I do Andrei when he bowls over Mike Richards and dislodges the puck, takes a pass, and whistles one past the goaltender's ear.

Andrei will do better once Plekanec gets into high gear. So far it's been virtually a two-man line.

The Kost Bros have been our best players so far in the season IMO.
there you go ... good post... if sergei stays on pp and keeps playing the way he does now.... holy ****.

we will average 4 goals/game this year. it makes 950 + pts for 82 games, distribute them the way you want on the team, I just don't care...

Andrei will outscore Sergei this year no doubt, he is playing on the first line, will get between 80-90 pts.. Sergei has an amazing start, I didnt expect him to be that great so early in what will be a long NHL carreer but we have to be realistic, even if the 'third' line will be great this year, Sergei should play there about all the season long while Andrei will play with Pleks and Kovy, our first line, getting more PP time as well.. I could see Sergei getting between 50-60 pts if he keeps playing like this though..

AKost vs. SKost, what a problem to have! I've been high on AKost for so long, even when all the naysayers said we should of taken Carter or Getzlaf in what was probably the deepest draft ever. I don't know if he'll ever be a superstar like Kovy but he's got the tools. SKost is amazing, the vision, the shot, the grit.... and we got him so late in the draft. I say AKost but I wouldn't be surprized if they have a bet going. After almost 15 years in the darkness, we finally have a team to be proud of.

Sergei always seems to be in the right place...they will both have a great season...the older Kost getting more ice, and probably 12-18 points more. Both are keepers!!!

Well thanks for all the opinions guys....I love the Habs board, you guys easily have the most devoted fans.

Personally I would have heavily leaned towards AK a couple of years ago, but SK has shown offensive prowess at every level. I find that SK would produce even with 3rd liner type of players where as AK is a dynamic winger who really benefits from playing with Kovalev and Plekanec. Not to underated AK as I expect 25-35 goals and 60-70 points, but I don't think that SK is far behind those totals, 18 - 39 - 57
