I split season tickets with a coworker, so we go every other game...work permitting. The easist way to spot us is lookin' for the hubby. He always wears the throwback Bernie Parnet jersey.

I'm usually in the Carter 3rd jersey....until I get my Cannon one.

Oh, and I whole heartedly agree about Gags...so good to see him back, really back.

And I thought Sbisa was really good. Not Timonen, keep him up for the year good... but good enough to make be excited about his future.

Yeah, to say Kovalev is not strong is laughable.

Ask Tucker and Hollweg.

That's like asking Richard Simmons what anal sex feels like. I don't care and I'm not impressed.

Tonight was the result of having to do overtime, and leaving right from work. Needless to say, it was an extremely stressful day, and trying to avoid round house kicking the satan ***** I have to help out, in her fugly face.

You're not one of those who schedules college classes around Flyers games, are you?

Probably would if I was still in school. It's getting to the point where everytime one of my friends asks me to do something a few weeks from now, I tell them I must consult my ticket book first hahah.

Dude, WTF happened tonight? I missed most of the game cuz I was at the bar watching the Phils. I only caught the first period of hockey.

I blame this loss on JSTAFF

This team is too good to keep losing....

It's a discouraging way to start but it happens. They will be a force this year... I hope

Don't worry guys. You'll be all right. You're just off to a slow start...

Besides... gotta love the rivality between our two teams... Much more healthy than the one with Boston... at least our two fans communities seem to get along better.

Habs fan here.

I did not see the game last night, but I was curious if Flyers fans could give an assessment of how they thought the Canadiens played last night. I know you usually concentrate on your home team, but some general observations would be welcome.

Thanks.

I didn't see that, but a fight nearly broke out in section 224 that had many Hab fans. Frankly as a native Philadelphian I was embarrassed at the behavior of the Flyers fans. The Habs fans were doing nothing wrong and whenever the Habs scored, one idiot would turn around, give the Habs fans the finger and yelled how Canada sucks (mind you half of the Flyers roster hail from Canada, but I guess that's besides the point).

Others would try to provoke the Habs fans by calling them frogs and "reminding" them of last year. When a guy in front of me looked right at me and said it I laughed in his face and said something to the effect of what did the Flyers win last year? He said that "we beat your as*es" to which I responded that I'm from Philly and unless the Flyers won the Cup last year who really cares. He tried to come up with a retort, but couldn't think of anything and told me to shut my mouth.

It's truly a shame, but whenever I travel and say I'm from Philadelphia people cringe and say what bad sports fans we are. I always defend them, but when I see crap like this it makes me wonder I why I defend them.

As for the game, I know it's early, but I think Biron looks very shaky in net. I think you have to give Niittymaki the start against Pittsburgh and go from there. Nothing like a potential goalie controversy in the 1st week of the season.

u know it's funny when we first got Biron, I said he was a glorified Esche...very streaky, sometimes just plain lucky, no real tactics, etc...but then Biron went on a tear last year and I had to give up my "PLAY NITTY" song.

I suppose I am bias since Nitty is my fave player. But I just think he got too much heat because he was playing with 2 bad hips behind the worst defense in the NHL that one year...and last year he had some great and some dismal moments. But I think Nitty is technically better, more athletic, etc.

Who knows tho

Both teams were very Sloppy. Kovalev looked good hit 2 crossbars. Pretty even game on the whole until Biron shat himself.
