I think I belong in the looney bin. Am I the only one who thinks that Brisebois should have stopped playing hockey two years ago? I really don't want to see this player on the team. Not even as a 7th d-man.
Breeze by should've been put out to pasture...or sold to a glue factory.

Dandy tries hard but should be sold aswell.

O'Byrne needs to work on his breakout because he looks atrocious most times.

Overall, the team looks great and I'm sure the appropriate changes will be made. It's still early on.

he's a little snakebit actually.

He's one of those players that looks "ho-hum" out there because he is so skilled. Its like he's playing a video game. There are other guys who make it look ho-hum out there like joe thornton. Nobody looked more ho hum than Mario Lemieux back in the day.

Its not like kovy isnt getting chances, he's drawing multiple goalposts and highway robberies from goaltenders.

Interesting,

According to NHL stats, S. Kostitsyn is leading the team in points but is one of the lowest on ice times. Wonder what he would do if he had big time like the other lines

He could have had 3 goals if he didn't hit the post.

Lang also.

..he would have to face the top lines from the opponent teams, like his brother does and his stats would be less shiny.

Actually there are 5 players leading the team with 4 points.

They gave it to Guillaume...I dunno, I think I need to see it again but I was pretty sure Tanguay had it for a brief moment. No biggie either way.

As the season goes on Sergei will mature and Carbs will gain confidence allowing in excess ice time. You will get a better indicator of what he can do with it mid season. It is good to see him get some PK time though, as I think Sergei can be pretty effective in the future in that role.

I know he was battling a groin injury during the preseason and that it's still not 100 % so his skating is a bit off until he can get a bit of time to rest it.

Placing your head firmly on the shoulder of your opponent while hanging on for dear life hardly constitutes a fight .

Am i the only one who gound that Dandy has lost a stride to his speed. I didn't find him all that fast like last year. I really am beginning to find him useless on this team.

I don't think Dandenault was ever the explosvie speedster. Dandenault is one of those skaters that once he gets going, he is as fast as anyone, and he has a great deal of agility at top speed as well. His first couple of steps are by no means slow but are not his asset. I think this may be why you are getting this impression, because at top speed, he still looks the same to me.

Chris Nilan made a living out of it...and most guys that fights BGL do it.

Came across these articles.. pretty good read. Check 'em out. Gives grades to all the players dressed in the Philly game.

Remember Lats banked it of the boards behind the net to Koivu, and got high-sticked in the face at the same time. Whoever does the scoring in Philly must be new or something. There was a mistake on 3 of the goals.

Haha I agree. Well...it was much better than his last fight but that's not saying much

Well thats good, cause he's our current #4 D.

He's better than Bouillion, O'Byrne and Brisebois... and has been since dec/jan of last year.
