Fellow habs fan, I've a problem that needs your help: we all know our most beloved bruins fans and their adorable Lucy will be coming to our house, today, for the home inauguration of this marvelous year. Seeing as we have also invited our very own ''defender or virtue and ethics'', BGL, to take part in our little friendly feast, and knowing full-well that miss Lucy tends to get a little overexcited and giddy at times during gentle discussions (which highly irritates our vey own BGL), I've been wondering if I should get that wonderful woman some flowers for her funeral-to-be after BGL is finished debating.
This is where you come in, help me choose the color of those flowers...
I wonder if blood red roses would match her new skin color...
Goals for in games against Boston at the Bell Centre last year:
6
7
8
3
and in the playoffs:
4
3
5
5.14 goals per game. All wins if you didn't remember. And I bet you in almost all of them we scored in the first 5-10 minutes of the game. Score early, and these big bad Bruin "tough guys" get so rattled and nervous the rest of the night is a walk in the park.
Maybe they've learned their lesson, we'll have to see.
Anyone see Shawn Thornton's little comment on tsn.ca (it's on their frontpage right now). It's about Laraque being in the lineup tonight...he refers to Carbonneau as "Guy" (as in 'that guy did it' pronunciation). Very bitter.

that's the classic way an anglophone insults a francophone, kind of the coward's way. It says that the guy doesn't deserve the effort it takes to say his name properly. It's Cherry's old trick. Says a bit about Thornton, but some things you can get away with.

It must be weird for Patrice Bergeron, among others, to share a locker room with a guy who has that big a language-related chip on his shoulder.
Especially when your best player and your coach are Quebecers.....I guess he wants to compete with Sean Avery.
Just can't believe that Bruins fans after approving Thornton's comments would then come in here and on their board and talk about how classless we are.....
I remember a guy visiting from Toronto, work realted, insisted on pronouncing a guy named Claude's name as Clod. It used to be a common thing, just a little message saying I'm better than you. All it really did was convince us the guy was a dick.

They've got some good guys over there, mainly guys that have been around awhile, but it's pretty well anything goes now. Like Magnan's tavern, it ain't what it used to be.
Ya Thornton is a punk. He insults French people pretty much every chance he gets.
go to the ruins GDT and check the prejudice comments. the 'ghey', 'French poodle'
etc BS
last year they were happy to crush the 'little french guys,' this year it's 'let's play hockey'..and pulling up the one in 50 fights BGL lost. they are pathetic.
i hate the ruins and their loser franchise
