thorn-scum got absolutely mashed by brashear's left hand last year. nothing would be better than BGL just caving his cheek in, in the first 5 minutes of the game. that would set a nice little tone for the year

whatever someone needs to feel better about himself I guess. A few years back I liked going over because you could trade barbs back and forth, but it makes me feel slimy now. Too bad.

I thought we'd successfully lobbied to ban the word classy ?

I thought you refrained from language and orientation insults because they were wrong ?

yeah too bad; but that's what happens when you lose to a team for 75 years. guess we should pity them

You know, the best times I've had watching hockey were Habs/Bruins and my guys didn't win 'em all. For the most part, though it's been a hard bitter rivalry, there's no need for some of this other stuff, in either direction.

You, sir, do overestimate my jugement and are wrong about your faith in my good will.

I personnaly think that they dont believe anything they say about Frenchs, it just a way to express their identity crisis as fans who were insulted and humiliated more than they did deserved. My answer would be in the same mould: childish.

You know as much as these groups argue how much better or different they are than the other, no matter how you measure it.............infractions, warnings, bans, deletions, just plain old PITA's ....they are a mirror image of each other here at dear old HF.

Neither would ever even think that a possibility. But being a guy that has been here a long time and seen a lot of stuff, not too mention clean-up duty most mornings, that is really what we have going on here.

Which base is worse? Pick a day man, pick a day.

That's gold.

Thornton sounds like a Bruins fan too me on this one so that makes sense.

Well said...everyone just needs to breathe deep, take their meds, and all will be OK...should always be in good fun, but unfortunately tends to get nasty.

and it's not worth it.

The guy in my signature. Terry Tomasi, known here as Backin72, great hockey fan, great guy. He loved the Jets and was torn apart when they left his town of Winnipeg. He "adopted" the Bruins after that. He loved the Habs-Bruins rivalry. But he also knew it was just a game and to enjoy it. Enjoy life.

He died suddenly 3 months ago of a heart attack.

We didn't see him around for a bit and thought it was kinda strange. Then we found out.

Why do I say all this?

To remind myself and hopefully point out to others that there is so much more important things in life to get worked up over than a hockey game.

good luck tonight gang !

I hope none of our players get the jitters with the whole home opening for the 100th season... I guess it will probably happen to both teams' younger players.

I'm going over my buddy's house to watch the game tonight and he happens to be Kosikarzzz a bruins poster. I got backup though cause Taylorzzz a habs poster is going too. Kosi just finished making a bruins bar in his basement. Do i have to say that a habs win would be great tonight? launch that bar the right way

Go Habs Go
