That page made my day. Espn just embarresses themselves with that projection crap.

Tkachuk - 109 goals, 0 assists.
Hank - 66 wins, 0 shutouts
Savard - 0 - 55- 27 record

Nothing to get worked up about. All they do is take pace the player is on and extend that out over 82 games.

with prucha in, i still dont see that line as stronger. prefer dawes plays over petr. fritsche im still kinda meh about.
I'm thinking he's trying to catch lightning in a bottle. Hoping that Fritsche would have stepped up and had a fantastic game. He had an average game, so he's going back to (and "showcasing") Prucha.

I hear what you're saying though.

Seems like that's the idea. I think it's also good in that Prucha doesn't feel "picked on", instead knows that he's mired in a competition.

Renney did also say that he intended to utilize all these players during this tightly scheduled stretch. Whether it's intended to be an "audition period", or a way of keeping the bottom half of the roster fresh, I'm not sure. I don't see the harm in platooning guys that can't stake a claim to their spot over a 2 game stretch, nor do I see the harm in having players in reserve and ready to go for injuries that the team will inevitably face. Better than having to rely on a forward from Hartford that hasn't been playing with the team or a guy who's been glued to the bench for a month.

I have looked through all the stats, lineups and variables. i have no choice but the agree with Fly on this one.

The numbers don't lie.

We will fight valiantly in overtime but in the end fall 6-1.

Rangers versus the third NY team.

Well NY state at least.

Actually, the presidential candidate's debate is more important, but since I don't get to vote anyway I'll stick to hockey.

2-0 Rangers, Our Lord King Henrik with a shut out, S:t Markus and Fast Freddie Shoestring with the goals.

A wee bit nationalistic maybe but it's one of those days.

A Swedish Captain handing over jersey's to two US Presidents, and a likewise Swedish mule called "Sir" by the younger of those Presidents.

Let's hope that Rangers can channel todays US-Swedish links and blow Buffalo out of the water.

ugh. stay positive.

this team has been playing outstanding team defense and hanks been nothing short of perfect. weve only given up 8 goals in 5 games. as long as we play a sound defensive game again tonite, i think we win this game 4-2.

again, like usual, the pk and pp are key. 5 on 5 i think we will swarm them with our team speed.

no worries. this team is flush with confidence.

Tsk tsk.

I had the chance of meeting with a class of combined 5:th and 6:th graders today (my youngest is in 6:th).

7 out of 10 was able to locate and explain the difference between NY City and NY State.

And those are Swedish 5:th and 6:th graders.

I get the Canada joke, but Ohio? Man thats cold. Don't associate wonderful western NY with the dump that is Ohio. WNYer's pay the high NYS taxes that clean your streets.

I do have a bad feeling.

It one of those game that Rangers should win.

But at the same time there's a lot of history bearing down on them.

Starting the series 6-0?

I know, I've studied statistics, the chance of getting a six is the same no matter if it's your first or your 6:th throw.

But I still think that Rangers will win this one.

The Rangers are more than due for a loss, the Sabres are a great team, and no one besides the Dubinsky line knows how to score on this team. This one has all the makings of a blow out.

I agree with FLY.

5-1 Buffalo
