12 straight wins, we on a roll baby!

No matter how sour the game was today, 12 straight regular season wins is nothing short of DOMINANCE!

Bruins needed a 5 on 3 and lucky bounce to tie it and us sitting back too much.

Its a lesson to not take the foot off the gas.

I don't want to get blasted, but isn't the moral victory joke outdated?

It seems to me that Habs fans are obsessed with moral victories, not Bruins fans.

*Beaker, if this is considered trolling, delete the post. I'm just wondering about why "moral victory" keeps being used.*

Could one argue that a playoff win is more valuable than a regular season win?

To be fair though, you guys are getting the wins, but the last two regular season games have gone to a shootout. Had this been before the lockout, that would have been two ties in a row. Don't let the stat fool you - the games are close.

I saw a Ryder, Halak and a 2nd joke on the trade board a few minutes ago so I don't think moral victory jokes have run their course yet.

Moral victory is still around because people just aren't that imaginative these days, kind of like the lame plays on Komisarek's name over on the B's board.

No it doesn't get old. If you want to know why it's still being used, go look at some of the posts on your board.

But that's a joke that's even used by Habs fans.

Moral victory is just something Habs fans made up because of one Bruins poster. There's a big difference, and you can't honestly think any Bruins fan goes "duh, ya moral victory, er ya!".

they might not use the term "moral victory" anymore, but a quick look at their gdt and there's a lot of "If we don't beat them, at least beat the crap out of them"...

I bet if you gave the Bruins a Habs Centennial Loonie for a day they wouldn't win a toss between them.

well, we can say the same thing for you guys and the Habs "diving."

According to many Bruins fans..the Habs dive about 35 times per game..including every penalty called against the B's.

Not our fault that Bruins fans don't have a sense of humor

Anyway, you can't honestly think that Hab fans believe they can get any superstar in the league for a Ryder, Halak, 2nd package...yet that's why the "joke" exists.

IF you can show me a post showing a Bruins fan celebrating a moral victory, I'll gladly concede this point.

I just think the friendly ribbing should go back to the way it was before the lockout. Now that was a time where tension went through the roof for a B's-Habs game.

It wasn't one poster it was like 20 after the 7-4 win last year where the bruins gooned it up for like the whole third period.

No, I clearly remember only one or two posters saying "moral victory", while the rest were saying there were glad that Stuart and Chara kicked some ass. I don't know how that constitutes as 20.
That was just a frustrating game, and I (among many other Bruins fans) will never see a loss as a Moral Victory. I don't even think there is such a thing as a moral victory in sports.

I'd welcome Bruins fans on this board if they all had Avatars like you. How you doing.

I just a bunch of posts on the B's board and they are talking how they got a point in their building sounds like they are talking about a moral victory.......Bottom line is the Habs got two points and the Baby Bears one..... even though it was a early Xmas gift.....
