Suit yourself. But you shouldn't get angry for nothing, it's bad for your health.

from Habs inside out

"Canadiens captain Saku Koivu wasn't available for overtime Wednesday night against the Bruins and he skipped practice today but coach Guy Carbonneau said he expected Koivu to be in the lineup Saturday night against Phoenix.

While the Canadiens are adhering to the NHL policy of not disclosing injury information, Carbonneau did say the injury was not related to the fooot ailment which plagued Koivu in training camp. "We're keeping him as a precaution but we got good news this morning and we expect him to practice tomorrow," said Carbonneau.

Christopher Higgins and Francis Bouillon both practiced with the team in Verdun yesterday. Neither has been cleared by the doctor but Carbonneau said there was a chance both of them could play Saturday."

Its not the foooot they say LMAO

Really? cuz I'd rather have his foot injured and this be precautionary than not knowing what the injury is!

Early season is exactly when you need it. When they have skated game-hard only for a week players tend to get pulls and sore easy. Remember we had half a dozen guys shelved because of that during training camp. I hope its nothing serious, Saku has been huge this year already.

I would let saku rest during the season. Lots of days off for him and Kovy. We will be able to squeeze more juice from these old bodies. We need em fresh comes playoff time.

Kovalev seems like one of the most freshest players on the ice; pardon my pun, but it is refreshing to see.

This guys needs some rest thats for sure. At this point and time, early in the season with a decent start(great point wise) It's wise to not over do it. No slacking but steaty work in progress.

Injured or not, Saku doesn't speak French and is not a real captain

The Habs are probably the most lenient teams in the league when it comes to giving players time off and rest.

But I agree, and hope the Habs have all but secured home ice advantage come March allowing numerous players to rest a couple games before the end of the season.

You lucky bastidge... who would've thought Mikko would get 9 points in his first 3 games. Enjoy the first place while you're still there bro.
