Sorry. I might be cold but as proud as I was about Saku's return, I didn't come close to crying that night.

I was emotional during the Koivu tribute. But it was more of a pumped up feeling. I was so happy and excited about his return, that I felt energized enough that I could have ran through a brick wall.

During the ceremony last night when Lach and Bouchard were brought out to center ice..did bring a tear to my eye though.
Bouchard looked at Chara like he wanted to take him on for size, 'if it wasn't for this damn chair, ...'

My Dad doesn't really suffer from dementia, but he gets mixed up in terms of time. He doesn't always realize that he told me about Lach and Bouchard, he thinks I know them because I saw them play.

One thing about Lach, a lot of players come to Montreal, play and go home, either summers or after retirement. Lach's from Saskatchewan, and he stayed. I hadn't really thought about this, until McGuire mentionned it today.

It's touching.

I'll cry when I see him hoisting the cup over his head.

At the time I was emotional, now not so much but it's still really nice to watch.

Last night before the ceremonial faceoff hearing the incredible "Saku" chant actually reminded me of that night.

I'm not Saku's biggest fan, but I do recognize all the hard stuff he's been through. That video doesn't make me cry, but it's still very touching.

Yeah I still remember that night vividly... I was definitely very emotional during that whole ovation much like during Richard's return.

Last night, seeing the tears in Elmer Lach's eyes and seeing Butch Bouchard stand up was pretty amazing too.

I was there in person, and I couldn't talk for the next 3 days. Neither could my parents. We literally yelled that much.

A great memory. Playoff clinching game as well.

My brother and I were at that game cheering for Saku..

That was the most emotional Hockey game I have ever seen!!!
