Laraque had NO training camp, NO pre-season games. It's gonna take him at least 10 games to be back in GAME SHAPE. But, he can still drop them, no problem.

10 games is a little excessive; but your point is correct

I would say around 2 weeks: 4-5 games plus 8-10 practices.

That would be funny.
Then maybe Chara on Koivu and Brashear on Skost.

Hilarious stuff...

Did you not see him at one point in the offensive zone? He was fairly close to the net...got the puck and since he is kinda slow at moving around, one of the bruins defenceman or center tried to take the puck from him and Laraque simply put his arm out and pushed the guy out of his way to then pass the puck to a teamate....I laughed when I saw that, but I was also in awe because he is so strong and if used in front of the net...he can really be a force for us.

A goon who can hit and score, hes pretty good not seen much because hes in the west but could score 20 goals possibly.

Carcillo is tiny aswell any notion of him fighting Georges Laraque is going to be disappointed, hes more likely to fight Josh Georges hes more in his league/size.

I say play BGL...

He needs to shed a few cobwebs before getting back into top form...or whatever top form is for him.

Besides, its not as if he's a huge liability out there

No he won't !! He may be mad as you say, but he ain't dumb. Guys like Goddard, Laraque and even Thornton would pummel him.

Oh by the way this is what happened when he tried Hordichuk, scull cracking in effect.

http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=XmBML6lAC3M

Hordichuk and Ivanins being the best he has fought.

I wonder if they will even dress McGrattan against the Habs. He was interviewed before the game in Ottawa last night & talked like he was playing, but, I didn't see him in the lineup. Fedoruk is the more useful player & Gretzky knows that what McGrattan brings isn't going to help them beat the Habs.

Carcillo would eat him alive. Man I'd give anything to have Carcillo on my team

BGL needs to get some playing time, and with McGratton in the game, it's a given BGL will be playing IMO.

Kind of ironic that the Penguins gave up Carcillo to get Laraque.

Have you watched Neil?? the guy can actually play the game...

Darren Landgon and Brian McGratton not so much.

Carcillo could potentially score 20 goals in a season with the right centre. Chris Neil plays in the Sens top 9.

Langdon and McGratton can barely see the ice at the NHL level.

Yes I have watched Neil play on occasion....and he isnt that great and he plays for a reason..... let me give you a hint: 19 and 15 and 11

p.s. he wouldnt crack our top nine....he is a fourth liner bottom line

Cracking our top 9 isn't easy.... He's a legit 3rd liner on most teams in the league....
We seriously have one of the deepest teams in the league....

Oh and right now, he would be in our top 9, he's better than Kosto... and i love Kosto.
