- Bryzgalov is starting, Gretzky is quoted as so on the Phoenix Coyotes website.

- Rest assured, the boards were fixed right after the game on Wednesday, lol.

- McGrattan is NOT on Phoenix's 2nd line. In fact, he wasn't even playing last night. Without Carcillo, their lines are something like:

Boedker - Jokinen - Mueller
Lisin - Turris - Doan
Winnik - Hanzal - Tikhonov
Fedoruk - Reinprecht - Porter

- Finally, CBC is showing at least 14 Habs games that do not interfere with another Toronto game this year. Lots of Thursday night and Saturday/Sunday afternoon games in that total.

Just like if given a choice the CBC affiliate in Montreal will pick up the Habs-Phx game on saturday over the National crosby vs the Leafs telecast.

As for RDS... All the games are on RDS. Note that RDS is the french version of TSN... not the French CBC... SRC lost the contract 2 years ago.

If you can't get the game anywhere saturday... Stream it off CBC.ca.
Did SRC have rights and not use em, cause it feels alot longer then 2 years since SRC showed habs games.

Home game on a Saturday night against a young, hungry, inferior team? Guaranteed loss.

Hope I'm wrong, but I can see us laying an egg in this one.

You'd think they'd want to come out and play a full 60 minutes tonight after what happened against Boston, but I'm also wary.

I'm looking forward to this game. Two very young and exciting teams with a ton of talent. Should be a high paced game and may come down to the goaltending and special teams.

François Gagnon on his blog is reporting that Higgins and Bouillon WON'T play tonight, just to be prudent.

http://blogues.cyberpresse.ca/gagnon/?p=70313658

That sucks, but on the other hand the team is doing well so...

Gretzky doesnt need to work hard to get his boys motivated for this one. They will be ready after a serious session of egg laying in ottawa.

Montreal is going to have to bring their work boots to get 2 points for this one.

btw, that phx lineup looks stacked. Very young, but stacked.

Well, in my opinion, stacked means that they're oozing talent from top to bottom. I dont really qualify them as being stacked at the moment because a lot of the kids are still raw in terms of their development.

Detroit is stacked.

Depending on who you ask, the Habs are stacked.

Phoenix is not.

I guess my definition is just a little different. The players are already oozing of talent and that's why I say they are stacked... they just need to mature and gain experience at the top level... I dont think we really disagree on anything except what "stacked" means to us

I just hope we dont see too many flashes of their bright future tonight. If those kids all bring it tonight, they are an offensive force to be reckoned with by anyone's standards... but consistency is often an issue with young players.

Same feeling. I remember the Habs spoiling my Saturday nights so many times last season!

C'mon boys, 9 points out of 10 please!

Let's just say that the Yotes are "Stacked" with potentially good/great young players.

I'm sure it's wrong but it's just odd that not only is the game not on TSN2, it's not even who's playing each other tonight
