If the Sedins were 21 year old PPG they'd be worth A LOT more than Spezza.

How many teams can afford to drop $12+ M on the Sedins in the off-season? My guess is only a couple and the Canucks are one of them. If the Sedins want to play for a good team they're going to have to take less than market value and speculation is they are seeking about $5.5M each from the Canucks. My guess is that the Sens could lock them up for the same.
Anyway, I don't think the Canucks would be better off with Spezza and whomever, I'm just throwing it out there as there are no guarantees that Gillis wants to stick with the Sedins or if he'd rather go in a different direction.
