I've seen the reply, and I don't agree with RDS, this hit is not legal. All Sauer did is but both his arm on Andrei's face. Wow, since when is this legal?

No. He's not doing much in Hamilton so far, 1 point in 3 games and 2 periods.

Higgins will return next game and take Andrei's place in the top 9.

D'Agostini with 2 goals tonight, much more likely to get called up than Max Pac at this point IMO.

CBC has been showing only this angle too.

The only thing I could complain about would be high gloves near the face. But Kost got caught looking at his pass.

Looks like a definite concussion. He also hit his face on the ice. Will we call up a player? Or just put Higgins back in the lineup and wait a while before a call up? As you can see I'm not confident about seeing Kost back soon.

Ok wtf Max Pac isn't going to play or be called up, we have Begin and Higgins sitting in the pressbox.

That was a dirty hit. The guy elbowed A. Kosti in the face. I hope big George beats him good for that dirty hit. Good hits do not elbow guys in the face.

Komisarek does use his hands a lot to the face.
But to me it looks more forearm.

He's definitely got a concussion, hopefully it's a minor one and he won't be out for too long.

Hopefully he can recover like Umberger did after he was knocked out by Campbell a few years ago.

The arm was up in his face. If it wasn't an elbow it was damn close.

People have to let go of this archaic mentality that a hit is clean as long as there's no elbow involved.

Sauer drove Kostitsyn's head into the boards...and clearly. I don't care if he did with his shoulder, his elbow or in this case, with his forearms/arms up high (at head level).

What the hell will it take for us to change the definition of a "clean hit"??? Someone to die???

A HIT TO THE HEAD IS NOT A CLEAN HIT.

seriously, it pisses me off. Brunet starts by saying that it's a clean hit, then his friends Bouchard and Demers say the same thing and now everyone is blind. It wasn't a legal hit, period. I'm not being biased, Sauer slamed his forearms on Kosty's face. Look at the ****ing reply.

He really got burned looking at his pass, he'll never make that mistake again. Let's hope he's got a hard head and not concussion prone.

And so what legal or not Kostitsyn shouldnt have even tried to go there in the first place, hopefully this is a lesson he can learn and isnt hurt too bad.

He's looking better tonight, had his first AHL fight, although wasn't much of a fight, it was the same guy that Chipchura fought early on, holy cow did Chipchura beat the snot of out Jones, YIKES, maybe he was pissed off at getting sent down and took it out on the poor guy.

Thats because Andrei was caught looking down at the puck thats why I it looks a bit of a dirty hit. To be honest I didnt really see anything vicious from the Coyote player.

The good news is we only have one game until next Saturday, so if it's only a minor concussion (which I doubt, again they were holding his shoulder area like something was wrong there too), he won't be missing that many games.

technically, a "KO" is a kind of concussion.

Yeah he sort of look at his pass behind him. He did have his head turned. That's what makes it a dirty hit though too. No need to hit him in the head at that point just take out your man with a shoulder or hip check.

Nice pike btw.
