yes for sure. The reality is Patrick is getting first line minutes. He was being double shifted out there, and he and his line are starting to develop some chemistry. He does add energy to the first line, but i think he will do that no matter what line he plays on
Brown and Kopitar were their most dangerous tonight when O'Sullivan had a long shift and stayed on the ice with them. Right now Moulson doesn't work on the 1st line and when your first line can't get anything going, you aren't going to win many hockey games.
Right now both Kopitar and Brown are playing like they don't trust passing Moulson the puck in traffic and they are stick handling with the puck longer than they need to and are turning it over. Maybe Moulson feels too much pressure playing on the 1st line and if he is moved to the Stoll-Moller line he may loosen up and provide some secondary scoring.
Didn't see the game, but was Labarbera that bad tonight?
Not too bad, but he didn't make any bigs saves to keep the Kings in the game. He had no chance on the Smyth goals, but the other 2 could have been stopped.

Yeah, he was. Im a supporter of Labs, but a horrible game tonight. And the turnovers didnt help at all. 2 bad turnovers by Priessing and Handzus which led to 2goals

I agree with this, but I would say that the 3rd goal he really should have stopped...
We controlled the game, really. Our defense is really good.
As has been said I want to know what going on with Preissing,
TOI:
Quincey 25:47
Doughty 25:07
O'Donnell 22:29
Greene 22:07
Gauthier 12:00 Preissing 9:38
I know Murray likes to play the third line, during the game they said that Murray told them he likes to give the 3rd line second most ice time or something, but I do want to know what's up with Tom.
Congratulations to Moller and Doughty on their first NHL goals!
Our penalty kill is awesome, great strategy!
The third period was really good, the Avs got only a few shots on goal in the third.
Well, Kings have fun on your golf tourney (October 21), and I'm looking forward to reading Preissing's blog on Wednesday. (I really like it that he's doing that, good to read about everything from a player's point of view)
It still sucks when the Kings lose, but this loss was much more tolerable than most of the losses last season. The Kings were hitting everything that moved, the PK is still pressuring the puck carrier and the Kings rookies are playing great.
Of the three key defensive mistakes, at least Doughty got beat by a great move and didn't just turn over the puck like Handzus and Preissing.
