but he has to. turnovers and quick transition is part of the game. Gauthier made a good play to force Hejduk into a tougher area... LaBarbera got a piece of that shot and still got beat which means he played the angle poorly.

and he has to stop wide open 50 foot shots.

i'll give him a mulligan on Ryan Smyth's goal, though he can feel free to have at it with a poke check... especially when even Smyth's former coach says his shot is so bad that Ty Conklin has a better shot.

Ahhhh I just remembered an article about having Burke in net made our defense more comfortable and not worry about making mistakes. Labs is starting to look like Cloutier. He is our Cloutier for this season.

Did I say I wanted Emery? All I am saying is that the Kings seem like the destination of every other teams cast off goalie. Because the Kings current goaltending is inconsistent. Tonight's game was an example of that....and is why we will continue to see rumors about other goalies like Khabibulin and Emery going to LA.
