i meant I feel bad for him since he has to be stuck in the AHL. Obviously we weren't the only team after him with his 1 mil contract.

what? yes i can blame him. if thats what he did, then hes more concerned with resting his players then winning the game? are you kidding. managing the bench wisely down 1 goal in the 3rd is playing your top 9 forwards so you can score a goal. the 4th line should not have even left the bench after the 10 min mark. period.

and who cares if they are overplayed the last 10 minutes of the 3rd? they had 4 friggin days off before fridays game. play em hard and try to win the game. its too early in the season to worry that they are gonna be tired.

geez. these are highly paid professional athletes arent they?

Not really, why burn someone out & have to wait an unknown time for them to recover & get there game back.

This rough stretch of games Dates back over a month to mid-September with the brutal pre-season scedule. These guys are worn out.

Good. The other day I said get rid of Rissmiller and Prucha and I'd be happy.

One down, two to go.

Was Rissmiller signed before the Zherdev/Fritsche trade or after? What about before or after Voros and Naslund? Because I'm having a real hard time backtracking and trying to figure out why signing him ever made sense.

Neither am I. It's actually much better for the rangers.

mea culpa, I readily admit I was hoping he would be a part of the club. Guess not.

Set for what?

Clearing space thats it? Signing someone?

Its kind of silly just to get rid of Prucha just because.

If memory serves, Voros was the 1st signing, then Rissmiller, then Rosie, then Redden, then Zherdev/Fritsche trade and Kalinin signing, then Naslund. I think?????????.

Rissmiller waived?

Impossible. Players signed for one million in the offseason don't get waived.

bahahaha.........oh well it's NY and they have the cash so if they have to eat it they eat it and he plays in Hartford all yr.......... I think he will get picked up though.........

http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/nyr081020.html

Prucha next?............for a pick and 7th Dman..........I think it's the right thing to do on both parts since he makes alot and is doing nothing in the pressbox

PLUS their are some good callups at Hartford in Parenteau, Moore, Byers who could jump in on the 4th line anytime

ALSO with the Riss signing it WAS before the Fritsche and Zherdev for 2 Dmen deal...........so I do understand why he was signed but after that deal their was no pt to have him around

on the other hand Voros and his 3 yr deal look like a steal RIGHT NOW...I think he will keep playing a big role but all this scoring is insane

I still liked the fact that Sather brought Rismiller in here. If nothing else it lit a fire under the ***** of the other potential 3rd and 4th line players trying to make the team. Everyone on the roster worker their arses off to make this club. I wish the guy well wherever he ends up!

Wouldn't it be funny if they traded Naslund and a pick to the Wild for Gaborik.

well yea we all agree on that but if he is sitting around and Sather is saying to do so whether we like it or not I think that is what will happen

I can't see him on any other line but the Betts line................I mean he would be ok there but not the top 3...............bahhh we will see

BUT i bet we hear something go down with Pru in the next 48 hrs
