I was at the Impact game so didnt get to see them.

How bad are the Ducks?

Not that bad. They're slowly clawing their way out of their funk and getting back to being a top team. Getzlaf was out with infected dental work (yikes), so it's understandable that they had trouble scoring.

A potentially good sign for Saturday night was that Giguere was a bit shaky during regulation/OT. He was giving out rebounds left and right, didn't seem too focused. Probably can't count on that being the case when he plays at the Bell, though.

no shots on goal in the 3rd period

only 4 shots in the 2nd


Giguere tons of rebounds

They got 4 shots in the 2nd and ZERO in the 3rd....against Toronto for crying out loud.

Whoa. They played better than that indicates. Guess they're still in a rut when it comes to getting shots on net.

I only saw the third period and the puck barely left the Ducks zone and Toronto was all over them with Gigère standing on his head.
