Seems as though the book on Halak isn't out yet.

Price, unfortunately, isn't as lucky.

I imagine that you would rather we NOT read the book in the library, but actually BUY it in a bookstore?

I think the problem is in translation here

English -----> French
Bookstore --> librairie
Library -----> bibliothèque

I'll fix the title to reflect this.

I'm happy with librairies (it is at the Bibliothèque Nationale at least), and book stores are good as it gets. I confused the two words, as in french it's the opposite, a librairy is where you buy books !

Bravo FF de Mars

I'm looking forward to reading your opus, "hardi cornac".

Je chasse l’Éléphant qui bourdonne, vrille, s’enfuit par la tête de la moustiquaire, dit « good night », fige, vole et s’élance. Good stuff.

Congratulations! That's amazing.

I'm interested in the whole process and have a couple questions for you. I know a lot of aspiring writers focus way too much on word count (I guess to make sure they reach a range where they're in the norm), so how long is your book (and how long was it in manuscript form before the fat was cut) and were you one of the ones who'd constantly check how many words/manuscript pages you'd written?

Also, according to Hemmingway, "the first draft of anything is ****." Did you find that or were you relatively satisfied with your work, even as the words freshly appeared on your screen? If you were, let's say, less than impressed with your first draft, even as the words flowed, did you just battle through it, knowing you'd perfect things later after it was all out, or what?

Felicitations! Congratulations!

BTW, what's the difference between a novella and a novel?
Is your book a novel or a novella?

A novella is under a 100 pages?
A novel is over a 100 pages?

Thanks. Merci.

p.s.: curious...how long did it take you to write "l'Elephant"? And what was the hardest part? (starting it? finishing it? the editing?). How do you protect your book (copy rights) when trying to get it published? Thank-you. Merci beaucoup.

Good to hear you liked the song. I thought it was quite fitting. Beirut's a great little band, they have some true gems.

I never thought someone with the name ''FF de Mars'' on a hockey board would be a writer.
Congrats and I give you props for ''FF de Mars''
