Darby actually played SEVERAL games as the #1 center those years when we had injuries.

I dunno, Parros is their sniper now. He has more goals than Getzlaf, Selanne, Perry, Kunitz and Morrison combined

I doubt it for Saturday as he missed today's practice. If he isn't skating at practice tomorrow, he definitely won't be there.

earlier in this thread it was reported Begin - Lang - Kosto on line 3 with Higgins back but that didn't make sense.
Higgins was with the Lapierre group at practice today:

Confirmation from CKAC and even on the Radio-Canada article about St-Pierre that AKost will NOT be ready for Saturday's game.

À l'entraînement, les deux premiers trios étaient inchangés, tandis que Robert Lang s'entraînait avec Steve Bégin et Tom Kostopoulos.

You'd have to think that if Higgins is ready it will end up being

Higgins - Lang - Kosto on saturday night.

I dont think Higgins will be put with Pleks and Kovy.
They will ease Higgins into the lineup and not want him to re-agrevate his groin injury like he did in the pre-season.

If there's a risk of re-aggravation.. he shouldn't be playing.

the thing with a groin injury is, once you hurt it, the risk is ALWAYS there.
Its something that never fully heals.

He means if you put him on the first line he'll rack up a lot of points and he'll re-aggravate his groin afterwards with sexy female fans congratulating him

Then I'd say give him another week of strenght training and then put him with Pleks and Kovy.

SK looked awful out there last game and the Lang line looks much better with SK distributing like he can.

this is true.

But there is no more risk of re-aggravating his injury playing on the 1st or 4th line...

I liked Juha Lind. He was too small, but was he ever fast and tenacious on the forecheck. He had decent hockey sense, just not physical. Purely about darting speed.
