should be a good game....if the rangers can use their speed i see them putting up a few quick goals....if they are flat, then it will be a very close game

Former Jackets always seem to score against us, so expect Fritsche and Zherdev to pick up a few points each. With the D still in disarray, I see the Rangers winning 5-2.

Is Peca back from suspension?

Can't wait to see how Fritsche responds tonight. Former team AND supposedly on the hot seat, should be a man possessed out there if nothing else.

Yes, this'll be Peca's first game back from suspension.

Filatov will also be in the line up, on the third line with Peca.

Zherdev has more to prove in this game than Fritsche does. I expect to see Z light us up.

Well, Fritsche's been out of the lineup and some here have speculated that this could be his last chance on the heels of Rissmiller's "last chance" game where he was also showcased on the 2nd line before hitting the waiver wire. I'm not sure I subscribe to that line of thinking, but Renney's looking for him to impress for sure.

Not sure what to expect of the new Drury/Zherdev combo yet.

Oh man, I didn't know that. That's disappointing - I was hoping he would impress. In that case, I'm sure he will be flying around tonight. But then again, that's not unusual for him.

I don't know why Fritsche would be on the wire today. Rissmiller was redundant as far I'm concerned, whereas Fritsche has a decent amount to offer. Please give him more than 2-3 games Renney

I'm only saying it was speculated here: http://hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=564951

I do think Fritsche deserves the same amount of leash that his competition has gotten and hope he gets it. Problem he's got is that he's redundant too, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was being showcased.

The Jackets are not the team of old. What an awesome team to watch out there, should be an exciting 60 minutes! Hopefully you guys don't mind me stopping by here and there - but every now and again I need to watch some exciting hockey.. so forgive me!

How about Pascal Leclaire? Rocks!
