What is wrong with the Islanders? If DP is still injured why has he even been on the bench? Too injured to start your franchise player but he's available if Joey Mac goes down? Weird

You just asked the million dollar question. The Isles aren't being straight up with any injury information, it's not limited to just DiPietro either.

Yann Danis has been called up, but I haven't a clue what is going on.

It's quickly becoming a joke, and all I can do is laugh

I hope our Rangers don't play down to the Isles and make fools of themselves. It's time for a nice clean win instead of feeling lucky that they beat them.

We need to take the Islanders seriously though. They aren't without talent and there have been too many years that the Rangers have dominated only to be foiled by the Islanders. Especially at the Coliseum.

Those guys get pumped up and this gives them something to play for. (Think Browns vs Giants a few weeks ago).

Let's pepper them early.

rangers need to come out and score a couple quick goals and continue with the pressure...the longer they are in the game, the harder they will play

FLY called the score, and he's been spot-on of late.

Still, LGR!

I think it's a superstition at this point. Nobody wants to predict a win and then jinx the team, so they predict a 6-1 overtime loss.

That said, tonights gonna be ugly. 6-1otl.

The keys to tonights game...score early, score often. Don't let the Isles even feel like they have a shot. Put them down early and keep on them until the final horn sounds. This should be a win...but as they say, that's why they play the game.

Shouldn't Fly be the only one doing it since it was his idea. I feel when everyone else does it, it kind of nullifys everything :\ Just my opinion. LGR

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Isles are trying to play mind games with the Rangers/rest of the league.

However, the Rangers and the rest of the league don't give a **** and have better things to do than worry about who's starting in goal for the Isles.

I think we've got this game. Dipietro isn't playing and they don't have Nolan coaching anymore. Those two were the biggest obstacles the last few years

Haha, imagine we get blown out though. I would love to see the reaction of this board

A bunch of firetrucks just went screaming by...Kinda sounded like the siren when the lamp is lit.

Sounds like there's gonna be alot of goals in this game tonight.
