Everybody has to agree that Carbo dresses Dandy only to increase his value...

The Montreal Canadiens have 2923 wins 1909 losses and 813 ties/otl in their history without Dandenault.

I think that proves my point.

We lost to the Ducks, it had nothing at all to do with Dandy being out.
It can't be purely coincidental. Dandenault has not ****ed up once this year. He is more often than not amazingly forechecking in the offensive zone, outmuscling monsters such as Zdeno Chara, The Iraq and Cam Neely.

Him and Lapierre have a great chemistry. The fact that they are playing so well together puts pressure on our top guys who feel the need to step it up a notch if they want to keep their playing time.

That is why Dandenault is useful + he has 3 Stanley Cup rings.

I guess I should have put the next to the record with him in and out.
Its a joke, we joked about it saturday night.
I know he wouldnt have made a difference.

I still believe he deserves to be in the lineup, he has played well.

Dandenault has messed up, every player messes up in EVERY game. Just not always noticed. It is impossible to play a game without messing up.

Dandenault having 3 cups has nothing to do with anything.

Dandy is a good 4th liner.
Nothing wrong with the move.
And it's not like Laraque has been amazing so far.

So... in other words the presence of Dendenault have no incidence on the result of the game. So why are you complaining already?

Its weird, I just had an entire lecture in my injuries class about concussions, and the problem of coming back too soon. The training staff better be damn sure that Kostitsyn is fully healed and ready to play. Getting a concussion when you are not fully recovered from an initial concussion is a very, very bad thing.

As for the game, **** Dandenault. I'm not actually upset, but what does he bring to the game over Begin or Laraque? Can't wait till July 1.

The Habs actually came out and said that? Or just not releasing that kind of info because they don't have to?

What does Laraque bring? All he does is stand there and once in a while he will fight. Dandenault on the other hand is decent at everything. He plays hard every night and he atleast has some offensive instinct.

from rds.ca

Andrei Kostitsyn attend les derniers résultats d’un test qui va démontrer qu’il ne souffre pas d’une commotion cérébrale

translated... AK is waiting the last results from a test that will show he is not suffering from a concussion.

He is playing tonight, so he passed the test and got the green light.

Dandenault decent at everything? He is well below average at anything that's not skating in a straight line. Anything involving a hockey puck he is terrible at. Laraque can waste time by protecting and shielding the puck down low. He also frightens people, thats enough for an upgrade over Dandenault.

Thanks for the info. But by just what you translated, it doesn't prove he never suffered a concussion. (Frankly I don't see how its possible he didn't suffer at least a very minor concussion) But I'm not doubting the training staff in anyway, I'm sure their doing their job. Montreal is like the best place in the world for head injuries.

I wonder if they meant more that he isn't suffering from a concussion *at this point*, rather than that he never had one? Because I agree, I don't see how he didn't have at least a minor concussion.

Dandy hasn't done much that I would consider great in his showings this year, but he hasn't made many mistakes either. In fact, he's been quite serviceable in forechecking and pressuring the puck while being responsible defensively on the backcheck. Begin has played okay, but he's had flashes of undisciplined play that have hurt the team. Laraque has dropped the mitts, but has admitted that his game is not where it should be, and that he has to be careful to avoid reinjuring the groin.

Out of those choices, as things stand, Dandy has earned another game. The good thing for us as Habs fans, is this will allow Begin to take a night off (hopefully a little more rest will help him stay healthy). While Laraque can rest up and get back to 100%.

Anyways, who cares about what our bottom line looks like. When was the last time our top 9 looked that strong offensively!!??!!

Yeah thats what I got out of it. I'm assuming the info he posted was from yesterday or today, and they wouldn't be testing for a concussion 10 days later and after they let him start practicing.

Winger Andrei Kostitsyn will be back in the lineup after he missed the last two games with a concussion.

The debate over whether or not Dandenault should be dressed or not and playing on our fourth line has already given this GDT more posts than some teams get during an entire game. Gotta love Habs fans!
