I think Richards should be anchoring the first line. The second line should be Mr "Cawter" and Glenn should be the third line center.
Just don't think Metro is the right person to carry the first line on his shoulders.
I don't know how the ice time will be doled out but I kind of consider that the 3rd line even with Gagne there. Here it is for last game. Gagne was still one of the top for forwards even though Metro was 3rd for the centers. http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...9/ES020110.HTM
* 12 Simon Gagne -- 13 Glen Metropolit -- 22 Mike Knuble
* 19 Scott Hartnell -- 18 Mike Richards -- 15 Joffrey Lupul
* 9 Scottie Upshall -- 17 Jeff Carter -- 14 Andreas Nodl
* 32 Riley Cote -- 36 Darroll Powe -- 45 Arron Asham
Is that the actual lines or a joke?

Ummm, wat?
Those were the lines the last two games, and for the most part it's been a beautiful thing. Why on earth should they be changed? Metro is doing a fine job, and the Richards and Carter lines are working far too well right now to be messing with them.
Not to mention, that the whole "1st, 2nd, 3rd" line designations remain to be virtually useless terms regarding our top 9. Look at the icetime in the first game that those were the lines...Carter had about 20 mins, Richards 19 mins, and Metro 16 mins. So, there's no point in worrying about how Metro is supposedly on the "1st" line.
Guys, I got Center Ice for the year and have missed two games so far this year...the last two.
Suffice to say, expect a loss tonight. :/
Whoa, whoa, whoa. I, too, have Center Ice. Circumstances beyond my control caused me to miss Friday's game, so I intentionally missed Saturday's game--two wins. I will not be watching tonight, and neither should you. It's the least we can do for the team and our fellow HF posters.
Any particular reason why our games with Atlanta seem to end up on VS on a regular basis? I feel like at least one of 'em gets bumped each year...seems like an odd matchup.

I was just thinking that too. I think 3 of the last 4 times the Thrashers were here they were on VS and in February of 2007 we played in Atlanta on NBC.
