not a great hit by Sbisa, but it definitely interrupted the momentum. So that was good at least

He definitely has the stick and skating skills, but he's going to get manhandled as the game tightens up as the year goes along...It's also why he has plays in space where he looks great, and then gives up stupid chances down low (like the one to the 4th line earlier in this game).

Yeah, and the scariest thing that Ilya's ever done is point at Crosby in the penalty box.

I suppose Sbisa could of just ignored Kovy and not tried to slow him down any.
He made some nice poke checks earlier.

True, but I don't think many defenseman are going to knock Kovalchuk down.....

I can't believe we're 12th in the league. The PP looks like a giant mess most of the time.

Not many defensemen should bounce right off of him like he's made of rubber, either.

Gawd, our PP blows. It shouldn't. Really it shouldn't. But it's painful.

I enjoyed Eminger taking Briere's spot on the first one. It was cute.

Is that what he was supposed to be doing? How the hell does someone look at the team and figure Eminger is the best replacement?
Also, nice to see Christine Simpson is all set for Halloween... sweetie, seriously, ditch the damn black nail polish. It's great for 12 year old girls and emo boys. Pretty much no one else.
