We still manage to get these points. I'm liking that but I'd like to see some more chemistry.

This game sucked to be perfectly honest.

20+ minutes of powerplays = boring hockey game.

And I'd put Markov back in his normal QB spot. Put Sergei in his place and play Tanguay up front with Koivu and Higgins.

Kinda sad how flat we looked against a porous (on paper) defence.

Highway robbery, but I'll take it .

Price redeemed himself after that weak second goal.

I was going to say man, the love in montreal was getting to their heads. Good thing they've got 4 on the road now!

Go Habs Go!

Also Price is so good in Shootouts... ever since the WC vs. the U.S. that was the game where I thought... this kid's balls... are on ICE

i only liked the play of higgins and kovy (not the whole game) and price besides that i think the 4th line played harder and better than the other three lines...just seems to be a lack of chemistry? or what lol

When 2 of the first 3 stars are Canes, you know it was an ugly win.

He wasnt good in that shootout.
He allowed 4 goals on 7 shots.
He also looked bad in the season opener against buffalo.

This is why you just can't not love Price... Each time he makes a mistake, he totally stands on his head afterwards... Great to get the win! Now we have to work on the transition against trap-playing teams.

You just can see how the guys hate to play slow-paced, closed games...

Some adjustments, but once again, many positives here...

- Tanguay keeps on being an important piece in these games...
- Kovalev/AK46 played great
- Markov was sharp defensively
- Price is really CLUTCH!
- Koivu showed us he can use more than one deke
- Higgins shows great hustle

Let's hope Hammer is all right, and GO HABS GO!

Imagine Huet in this shootout

The whole balls .. ice whatever.. that was in that 3rd period/OT vs the US. What an amazing performance that was.

Ok, so we have our best offensive weapon on the bench for the entire OT. I guess Carbo wanted Price to have fun for the SO.

Then I was an idiot then because there were 3 consecutive saves by the other goaler which put all the pressure on him until towes scored so sorry for thinking that's nerves of steele to keep his team alive 3 times in such a huge game

I maintain he has always been good in the shootout, and if its not true it's the impression I get...and so do the players and that must help calm down the nerves

anyways Go Price and Go Habs

Another robbery at the Bell Center

Markov needs to go back on the left point on the PP, i think he feels more confortable there. Markov is too close to Kovalev to make anything happened, they need be seperated to be more sucessful.

He made the saves he had to in order to win, which is all that matters.

Carbo is going to cling onto his Lang/Koivu/Kovalev combo for 4-on-3's and 5-on-3's like grim death. Plekanec, Tanguay and Kostitsyn won't get a whiff of the 2 man advantages.
