I agree with the posters who said that the team needs a road trip.

Too bad it has to start against the Wild.

Btw who is the cool cheese with no tie standing between the benches? Are they actually going to be showing his face 18 times a game the rest of the year?

And I'd put Markov back in his normal QB spot. Put Sergei in his place and play Tanguay up front with Koivu and Higgins.
I was thinking the same thing.

The Habs also continue to win with average to below average performances from:

- S Kostitysn
- Komisarek
- Plekanec
- Hamrlik

3 main contributors on this team, it will catch up sooner or later unless they step it up and the Habs should cruise through alot of games.

Btw I really liked Dandenault tonight

Higgins - Koivu - Tanguay

I love Higgins. I love Lats. Higgins needs to play with Koivu and Tanguay, and Lats needs to work it with Lang and Kostitsyn.

I agree. Also, O'byrne is horrible. That guy has no balance.

No trolling, just chiming in. Not having Williams, Walker, Kaberle, Pitkanen, Sutter, not to mention the hab killer cole is gone... yea the hospital hurricanes are ok with getting 1 point against a very good habs team, eventhough playing in mtl is supposed to be an easy two points .

Continue on.

Can't make a 5 foot pass to save his life.

Seriously, Seidenberg played an awful game tonight.

Covered the puck in the crease, got a hooking penalty. But hey, he had an assist!

well if Hammer is banged up at all a 5 day break might be a good thing ,but it does suck though no denying that.

Lats needs to be sat for a game. He's completely lost out there. Can't seem to receive a pass, and isn't hustling. I guess he figured he'd come of age after his good start and has forgot that theres a whole bunch of guys who can replace him on that line.

I disagree with everyone that say we robbed the win tonight. We hit many posts and missed many open nets by small margins. I say we had bad luck and thats it. We dominated parts of the game, they dominated some. Big deal.
Only think that worries me is our D; it is terrible, and it has been so since the beginning of the season. We get outshot too many times, and too many of those shots are clear scoring chances. We to tighten it up and fast...

Exactly what I was thinking...

Also making room for some fresh blood in Kyle Chipchura would be good

In the end, a win is a win, and that's what matters.
But I have to admint Latendresse looks lost out there...His performance is far away from the first games of the season.

And solid game from Lapierre.

Wow, didn't take too long for the Latendresse bashers to come back... couldn't say **** for the first 6 games and now, two average ones and he should be benched and replaced by... oh, let's say Pacioretty, even if he sucks even more in the AHL.

Give it a rest, it's an old song...

Yes, we won, and that's great. I agree, I don't care if it's ugly or pretty, but I do care that this guy and a couple others are floating and not pulling their wait for quite a few games. Do you like it at work when one of your co-workers poaches off your good work and makes you work harder. If he's not held accountable then the others will become frustrated quite easily.
