I agree the fourth line was great, and Im probably as big of a Dandenault fan as anyone on these boards. But do only the fourth line guys have to tear it up to stay in the lineup? How come guys like Begin or Laraque cant get in the lineup when other forwards like Sergie Kostitsyn or Latendresse arent really doing anything special.

I know that Boogaard is not dressed tonight, but what is Laraque's injury status? I haven't read anything on it lately?

They have a non-hf site that they use that is really busy.....

Look at the Calgary board and the Chicago board too....

There are some teams that really should be busier but they seem to have a site they frequent outside HF.

Jeez I have this feeling it will be a snoozefest once again...

Trapping should be forbidden... I hate Jacques Lemaire... HE almost killed the game with his ****ing system.

Check out their official board. Just like Chicago, Calgary, Dallas, Atlanta and Nashville. And to some extent St. Louis, Phoenix and Anaheim. I think those are the main culprits.

What a cheerful and friendly bunch. I only read a few pages in the GDT felt all warm inside.

Alright, sweet, a clinical team like Minnesota will work his side of the ice all night.
With Breezer needing 50 or so games to get to 1000, you can bank on him being dressed 50 times

Haha seriously. Its like a GDT with fans of both teams and there's not even a little dispute.

Didn't see this mentioned but this is the first time in the whole history of NHL when 2 brothers face-off as the captains of their teams.

One thing I'd like to see tonight and I think it's one of the problems why we have trouble gaining the zone, I'd like the defensmens to stop passing the puck from behind the circles to the red line, almost all our passes got picked up.

I really want to see our d-men carry the puck past the blue line and make shorter quicker passes.

I see Brisebois is playing tonight. Hoping the rest from missing the last game translates into quicker speed and reactions. He really ticked me off the way he played against the Ducks the other night, but to be fair, it has been a year since he played a game anywhere near that bad. Usually, he actually does play alright.

Laraque sitting tonight is appropriate because right now he simply lacks the speed to play with the Habs.

Because if you plug in 4th liners in place of Lats and Sergei, you completely change the make-up of their respective lines. With your reasoning, Begin should be plugged in place of Plekanec since he's obviously the one whose having the most difficulty. Carbs is not about to bench Lats and Sergei for the same reason he won't bench Plekanec.

So, is the game really free on NHL game centre tonight?
