I definitely remember it happening with Montoya. Maybe the examples you provided had different contract situations which didn't make it necessary.

Apparently his facebook page says he's been traded to Nashville.

Can't give you a link (don't know it), but I saw this somewhere else from someone who follows the Pack very closely

I believe you. Interesting what we got back. You have to wonder if this deal is actually bigger and we added others to get radulov. Wouldnt that be some type of gamble.

I'm starting to think this deal is a little more than just Jessiman...maybe Martin Erat coming back our way?

I seriously wish. But that's all i can do. Radulov wants to stay in Russia.

Well that was anti-climatic. At least we got Zherdev from the 2003 draft...

Probably wouldnt expect too much for a guy who wasnt likely to make the grade with us.
I do wish him all the best though.

No. No there's nothing more to it. They dumped him because he started *****ing about "not getting a chance" and was probably a distraction in Hartford at this point.

Good luck in Nashville, Hugh. I don't wish you ill, but you need to actually figure out how to play hockey if you want to be successful at the NHL (or even AHL) level.

Excellent scouting by the Rangers in that 2003 draft!! Our first round pick was future considerations from Nashville. That will probably be like the next Immonen!

Nobody thought you were lying, but there are certain rules on HF that require mods to close threads like these if a source isn't given in a decent amount of time, whether they believe the poster or not.

I don't remember hearing about that, when did this happen?

Good riddance!!!. Thats all i can say. Total BUST and a friggin wasted 1st round pick. Im so upset to know that guys like Brown, Parise, Getzlaf, Burns, Richards and Perry were selected later than Jessiman.

Send a message via AIM to RangersFan Send a message via MSN to RangersFan
hopefully this will put an end to the weekly Jessiman threads, though I highly doubt it...
