Clarke was on off the record today and stated that he thought Campbell's suspension had set Downie back and that he needed the ice time with the Phantoms. Good watch if anyone gets to catch it.
Again, he can definitely use the ice time on the Phantoms, no question. I just dont like how Stevens has handled him.

I loved what I saw from Nodl from last night. He had that great defensive play that led to Cannon's goal. I think Downie will gain something from his extra playing time in the AHL.

I think he's looked very good, kind of slick when carrying the puck, very slick when passing it, good vision. Definitely someone to look forward to.

This is the key when I evaluate young players. It's been said many times but you can't teach vision. This kid seldom has to look at the puck and seldom does he make a mistake with it.

Anyone know what his injury is and how long. Flyers descibe it as a "Lower Body Injury"
