While I think the Habs are going to win, the Isles have been battling teams every night. Right now the Isles have Witt, Martinek, Meyer, Sillinger, and Dipi out. Also Bailey. Nobody knows anything about their true status do to the Isles injury disclosure (lower or upper body injury).
I am looking forward to seeing Danis, as I really believe he is better than MacDonald. Streit has been playing very good on BOTH sides of the ice! Probably better than Redden has been on the Rags. But yes much of this team is has beens or AHL level players.
On the Isles side, Okposo is starting to show his game, and Nielson has had spurts of good play lately. I think the Habs will burn the Isles pp by getting a pk goal as the Isles have been playing Weight at the point. Best of luck, but not too many of the ISles fans are going to get super upset at a loss, as many of us want Taveras or Hedman next year

Habs score 4 in the first and ride to a 7-2 win.

Amazing GDT Habs425! I love the ritzy font, & the idea to use Isles colours for both teams.

Sucks I can't see the GDT pics... apparently my company has denied access to photobucket.com.
I'm really hoping for a big game from the Kovalev line. I have all three guys in my pool and I'm falling behind because of them.
8-0 Habs /w 15 points from the Kovy line

I guess Toronto is still putting up decent ratings, so they changed their minds.

Apparently they have some Habs games scheduled for broadcast later on in the season, but damn, throw us a bone or two early on. Surely they must know of the resentment toward's them from the fans of every other team but you-know-who(s)?
HNIC keeps getting more and more pathetic. When Grapes is gone I doubt I'll ever tune in again.

Habs
Don't you know the Leafs are losing a game somewhere out there tonight and the nation needs that shoved down their throats?

What else is there? I suppose you tune in for the clever PJ Stock stuff, eh? Or that genius of the game Milbury?
CBC has gone to hades - pretty sure saying "h e double hockey sticks" will result in an infraction here....
Back on topic - Danis will be 'feeling it', but won't be able to overcome the offence. 5-1 Habs....

Laraque, Begin and O'Byrne are IN
Dandenault, Kostopoulos, Brisebois are OUT
I dont understand why TK is out, the guy has done everything to keep his spot in the lineup.

Because Begin doesn't really deserve to sit 3 games.

Oh no! Dandenault out! But JMMR noted we're undefeated with Dandenault in the line-up!
TK is only out because Laraque and Begin need to play.

Agreed about Tom - he's been a real asset lately. Of all the players on that 4th line I think he's deserved a more permanent spot.
He looks like a real good team guy, though, so hopefully he'll understand.

Also, I like TK, but having him in the lineup or not won't change a thing. Like most of the teams 4th line, he's a filler.
